Such courage Trump displays!

How fortunate we are to have as president, the bravest man in America. A man who was not afraid — when even Joe Biden was standing above ground and meeting with protesters — to boldly go down (where few have gone before) into a secure bunker. Now, that was an act of courage!

Hiding under the ground, is a scary place, full of earthworms and moles (some could be malignant, like windmills) and cicadas and very long tree roots! Secreting himself in a bunker, of limited size, laughing in the face of claustrophobia, even though he was forced to confront head-on the terrifying fact that all the items around him might have been touched by an equally brave Dick Cheney during his brief time in the same spot — only a very daring man would have the guts to venture there. Hiding below the White House, where Andrew Johnson’s ghost could possibly also be, at any time.

But his courage did not stop there. No! He was not afraid to pick up the telephone (always a terrifying act, because you cannot see your interlocutor, and sometimes you both start talking at the same time, which can haunt you for months afterwards, no matter how much of a “perfect call“ it was) and yell at the nation’s governors, finding the soul of Patten, and telling those governors that they needed to “dominate” and “get much tougher” and that “if you don’t dominate you’re wasting your time. They’re going to run over you, you’re going to look like a bunch of jerks.” This was not just a sign of bravery, but also intelligence, demonstrating his laser-like ability to pinpoint the one remark that might soothe or offer even a tiny bit of reassurance during a trying time, and then, say the exact opposite.

But, it was not just by phone that his courage demonstrated itself. He did not merely speak, but also typed! He managed to violate Twitter’s terms of service by glorifying violence, the act of a very bold man. Behind a keyboard is the most frightening place of all to be, much scarier than standing in a group of protesters, because you do not know, for starters, if the keyboard is entirely clean of the deadly “Trump virus” (named in his honor because he was the first to recognize its deadly potential), and also, you might make a typo. And, staring at the screen to which the keyboard is attached could lead to eyestrain.

It took immense bravery to say the very worst things at a time such as this. But that is the kind of bravery for which Donald Trump has always been known. Not afraid to heap insult on injury on insult, bold enough to cower, wise enough to plant his foot firmly in his mouth. Whereas most leaders stop at pouring oil on troubled waters, Donald Trump is brave enough to set that oil on fire! But, kind enough to allow others to take the responsibility for its outcome, while he orders another box of XXL Depends. (He keeps soiling their ones he wears. He says it’s because of a bad batch of McDonald’s cheeseburgers he ate.)

Then, once he so bravely ordered the local police, National Guard and Secret Service to forcefully pay clear him a path, using some of the “most awesome weapons anyone has ever seen,” our brave President Trump uprightly goose-stepped across the street, to an old, historic church, held up a Bible, upside down, and proceeded to tell us all just how brave, wonderful and masterful he is as a “law and order president,” and who, is the president of ALL of us, all without mentioning who “ALL of us,” includes. (See! He can keep a secret, just not from Russia. But, he’s working on that, our White House sources tell us.)

So brave! So dominant! So kind! He is a beacon in the night, just like the White House wasn’t.

And, while the country burns down all around us, President Trump stands firmly, in the White House bunker, comforting his own, scared family and issuing brave and often illegal directives to his troops and loyal followers.

If there’s anyone, who has the bravery and wherewithal to lead our great country over a cliff and into fiscal, social and international oblivion, it’s our own, brave, omniscient and omnipresent, President Trump, assisted by his loyal GOPTP Senators and Representatives in Congress. Without their invaluable help and total disloyalty to the Constitution, our system of government, and our future as a country, we would still be a model for other countries to follow.

Thank you, President Trump, for being the bold and brave visionary you are. Without you, and your helpers in Congress, we couldn’t have achieved the horrible shape we’ve sunk to under your abject failure as a leader and their aiding and abedding your lying destructiveness.

So true Byron. The term "gay" sets these lefties off. They take great offense by it but they don't take offense to the demorats rioting, looting and torching businesses. They don't take offense to Bathhouse Ovommit trying to pull a coup on President Trump, they take no offense at the slaughter of 65 million babies in the womb, they take no offense to sexual perversion, or looting and bribing other countries like Joe Bribem Biden. They take no offense to the slander and lies about President Trump being racist, sexist, homophobic, islamophobic and they are all lies perpetuated by people like Wolfman and his party.

You are incredibly misinformed and ignorant. There would be no president trump and no administration or military if the states and the citizens of those states did not pay for them. Where do you think the funds come from to keep our country going. The majority of funds the Federal government has in their coffers come from these states, and its an unfortunate fact that red states in general get more than they give and blue states give more than they get. The governors are doing their jobs, the President makes it much harder with his lack of anything even remotely attune to leadership. When a problem gets larger than an individual state can handle, the Federal government is supposed to be there to help. Trump has a problem with this as we have seen time and time again with the pandemic, and now with the protesting. He shows favoritism to those red states that are feeding at the federal trough and treats blue states that provide the vast majority of taxpayer dollars to the government like second class citizens. Nobody wants America to burn and be divided more than Trump because the only way he can win anything is to divide us. Look at the polls, they tell a very different story about who is in for that rude awakening. And many states ALREADY have total freedom of anyone to choose a mail in ballot for any election.

In fact, all states will mail an absentee ballot to certain voters who request one. In two-thirds of the states, any qualified voter may vote absentee without offering an excuse, and in one-third of the states, an excuse is required. So your "no mail in ballots except for certain reasons" is never going to happen. All those mail in ballot laws are state laws and the Federal government and Trump (who already uses mail-in-ballots) can't do a damn thing about it. And yes we all understand his and your real reason to not wanting mail-in-balloting, neither of you believe in America and both of you want to stop American's from exercising their right to vote.

Unfortunately democracy can be messy. Trump can do things to settle the anger down, but he instead chooses to continue to stoke that anger. He is an evil self centered man and you who still believe in him are ignorant accomplices to his attempts to destroy our country. I grew up in Detroit and my family moved out to the suburbs after the race riots of 1967. I remember that time well. Some things still have not changed and its way past time we start to live up to the principle this country was founded upon, that all are created equal under the law, and in the eyes of God.

Perhaps you should review the constitution Lieutenant Rob. There are hundreds of thousands of protesters, yes PROTESTERS, doing what their constitution gives them the right to do. Yes I'm talking about the first Amendment, which goes like this:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

You know what the part that says "to petition the government for a redress of grievances" means? It means we all have the right to ask government at any level to right a wrong or correct a problem. Which is exactly what is going on today. Are some people taking advantage of this and looting and setting things on fire, of course. But according to everything I have seen and read this is a very small contingent and it is only happening in a few areas. Yesterday we had a protest here in deep red Idaho in our state capital of Boise. Over 6,000 people showed up. There was no violence, no looting, nothing set on fire. This is happening all over the country.

I suggest if you don't like the protests, then perhaps you should move to a country like North Korea, China or another country that outlaws them. There is a good reason this is covered in the first amendment, it was one of the most important things on the framer's minds when they were writing the constitution. If you don't like what our constitution says perhaps its time for you to find a new home.

There just are not enough dumba$$ racists in this country that continue to support this piece of crap person we currently have as president. So we made a mistake in 2016 as a country and now its time to fix that mistake. The pendulum is swinging and the GOP led insanity of the last 3.5 years is about to be abruptly corrected. November is going to be really scary for you. Every one of those protesters you see around the country are going to be uber incentivized to vote, and I'm betting very few of them are Republicans. Between this fiasco and Trumps inability to deal effectively with the pandemic, there will be millions upon millions of people who never voted before that will make it a solemn promise to vote this year. Even the GOP efforts to create voting barriers will be vastly insufficient. In November we will see a Biden president and both houses owned by the democrats and it will be a long long time before the GOP holds any power in the country again due to this imbecile you all support as president.
