OK, why are you bitching about this to us, get on the WH hot line and read president Trump the riot act. Personally, I don't give a rat's ass how he gets his message out.

I must ask, WTF did Biden do that tickled you?

Are you aware that the leftist media is fomenting this riotous insurrection? Do you think the media would give Trump a fair and unbiased shot at getting his messages to the American people? They may broadcast his message, but you know and I know what they would do with it immediately after he finished. The media's "interpretations" of what he might say would be front and center in all the news and their version of his speech would bear no resemblance to what he actually said.

The vast majority of crimes committed are not federal crimes. Trump has told states to use more National Guard. The State police just talked about how effective a circling strategy works to contain violence. Seemed like that was a new strategy sadly. It has been used in war for 1000's of years. Maybe that is why Trump named Milley to help states fight the rioters. They may just not know this stuff.
Federal crimes have every available DOJ source working to identify perpetrators, arrest and charge and then hopely convict. Not just break the curfew hours crimes, but fires, protected property in like arson charges, interstate travel to insight or participate in riots, etc. NY just arrested two lawyers throwing fire bombs. That is good start. If anyone lives in areas with huge demonstrations, I hope you are reporting any face you may recognize to appropriate authorities.

Expect better police performance now that they have been told what to do by our Trump administration experts.

As I stated before; these are local issues that need to be handled by the governors. After they do what they need - call out the Guard or whatever. Then they can formally request federal assistance.

If President Trump acts, the ELWNJs will cry about him ‘being a dictator’.

The Floyd narrative was a twisted story. I read all the activities from the time that Floyd was arrested because store owner was paid a counterfeit $20 bill by Floyd. And store owner called authorities.
https://en.as.com/en/2020/05/31/other_sports/1590954856_526126.html

The procedures done by the Police Officers were correct but Floyd resisted and fell down the ground.

The Autopsy revealed Floyd had various medical problem, heart, high blood, etc. Resisting arrest made the police officer subdue him further.

I think if they don't believe the Baden autopsy which I think was correct , two more autopsy could be done to prove the cause of Floyd's death.

The president's tweeting is the only way he could put accurate message to the people. Cause if done by speaking at the WH podium, the MSM's will TWIST his message, fabricate to destroy the president. Reading those people will riot, and blame the president due to the false reporting of the media. I agree with his tweeting, the better way to announce facts to the people. directly from his own words.

Now, after knowing the conditions how Floyd committed crime, and resisted, I feel that the police officers did all things possible to restrain him. But clearer and bigger picture indicate that the police officer did not put his knee weight in Floyd's neck.

Autopsy is in...the death correspondent rules homicide. Apparently Floyd's carotid artery ran up his shoulder rather than in the throat. "Sustained pressure on the right side of Mr Floyd's carotid artery impeded blood flow to the brain, and weight on his back impeded his ability to breathe." Looks like he had no underlying conditions or toxins in his body. The report says he was in good health... https://www.the-sun.com/news/917041/george-floyd-death-autopsy-results-independent/

I was wrong.

Do you think the doctor was a democrat?
What happened to Dr. Baden's report then?

I am confused. Why did the officer do that in the open for all to see? Strange behavior. Knowing that he will pay for his actions, any sane person won't do that. Think of his family or his children if something happens to him. That' s the saddest part of it. I feel sad that this thing happened. The whole country burned. Lives of law enforcement lost. Trillions of dollars of public and private properties lost. We the taxpayers will pay for that.

I feel sad for Floyd , and his family. I feel sad for the Police Officer too and his family. I just want to cry, I am upset.

This is Baden's report. It is as if the first medical examiner was doing an autopsy on a completely different body. Baden said that Floyd was in excellent health. This autopsy raises a lot of questions in my mind....

Dear Lord, help us. The whole world is burning, and getting crazier every day. Even the doctors have different reports. Why? Are they using politics too? No more medical ethics like MSM?

I want a 3rd autopsy.

A third autopsy may not be possible, the last autopsy Baden did...all specimens and the body disappeared!

Should be interesting if the family goes to a court to sue Chauvin and the police....which autopsy will be used? Will the two autopsies cancel each other out? Will there be a third autopsy? By who?? And imagine the riots if they let Chauvin get off with just a fine or a few years in jail...how can THAT be avoided? What a mess caused by a single, stupid cop who did a very stupid thing.

Chauvin is under suicide watch... I think he is going to be "Epsteined"

Chinese style, right? Sweep the streets with machine guns, flash bangs, tear gas - tanks.

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to deal with an unruly, violent, out of control mob? Even putting a stop to a minor incident of this kind isn't a slam dunk.

Once, during my career as a firefighter, a mob of maybe 300 people gathered in the middle of the busiest section of the city. I don't recall what their problem was, but the temperature was getting close to a riot. Things were heating up, the protesters were throwing bottles, beer cans, whatever they could get their hands on at the police. Damage to vehicles and property was minimal early on, but things were getting broken.

The police called us for assistance. They wanted a pumper with a mounted water cannon and a ladder truck. I happened to be the ladder truck tillerman on that occasion. (At the rear of the ladder truck is a steering system for the rear wheels of the trailer. This allows the driver and tillerman to work together negotiating tight turns and heavy traffic.)

We had been instructed in using a fire dept ladder truck for crowd control, but merely as a concept, we never trained for this. Crowd control is one thing, stopping a riot is another.

When we turned onto the street, we saw that the mob was angry and growing more violent. The police had established two lines, one on either end of the street boxing the mob in. Our battalion chief and the police incident commander had apparently decided to try the ladder truck first, followed by the pumper with the water cannon.

So, my good buddy, Norman, up front driving the tractor and I on the tiller cinched down our helmets and sallied forth. Norm drove the tractor to the left side of the street (4 lanes) and I steered the tail of the trailer to the right. The idea was to create a kind of grader blade that would force people down the street toward the far police line behind which the police had assembled paddy wagons, cruisers, and dozens of cops prepared to bust some chops and make arrests. Police units stayed on our flanks to fill that gap, and the pumper, with the water cannon manned and charged, was right behind us. (Drew you a picture.)

Within seconds of moving into position, we started getting hit. I got hit hard with a full can of beer right upside the head. Fortunately, my helmet absorbed most of the blow. The mob wasn't having any of this, all we did was piss them off even more than they were. I knew instantly this was a really dumb idea. However, less than a minute later, the water cannon opened up and it did dampen their spirits a bit. Less than five minutes after we started this fiasco, the police commander ordered us to back off.

Point is, it took one hell of a lot of the city's resources to disperse a crowd of 300 or so people. Some arrests were made, but it took the police something like 6 hours to diffuse the situation.
Chinese style, right? Sweep the streets with machi... (show quote)

So let them riot?

You're talking about a protest... Those are fine... And serve a purpose...

I'm talking about the riots... Looting and vandalism...

Yep... Crack down on that... Chinese style sounds good to me... Wish HongKong had called in the Mainland... Would have put an end to that right fast...

I understand what you're saying... And agree... Don't add sparks to a potential conflagration... But if the fire is already burning, put it out....

I am not going to go through the reasons that this case may not even get to a Grand Jury. Or why the City's Police Academy training is faulty. I will not even go into how hard it will be to prove a depraved mind. Nor will I go into the presumed intelligence of Derek.

As for the autopsies, should this make it to trial, the prosecutor will use the Death Correspondents version. The defense will use the original ME findings. A third autopsy...not likely, but could happen providing the body can be located. Recall Epstein's body and evidence disappeared right after the second exam.

I hope his lawyer is as effective as he was in the Grainer case. And I pray he makes it through the suicide watch and the power does not go out at 2 am.....

Unlike the majority on OPP, I still think the officer was not negligent in his duty, he was concerned for Floyd, and the hold was not cruel or excessive and was sanctioned by the city. I have presented my position on several posts. Further, I do not think the second autopsy is right...

I disagree - any statement he makes will just give fodder to the media. He should just do what he has warned, sent in the military to take out Antifa - bring to military tribunal (enemy combatants) those that set fire to cities, and let the military render judgment.
