I know you probably think you are defending the officer, but you are not doing law enforcement any favors. Blocking of the blood flow to the brain is not standard operating procedure for subduing a suspect that is unable to fight back. To say it is, will just cause more restraints to be put on officers already trying to do a job with one hand tied behind THEIR backs.

You stated that Floyd stopped talking five minutes into the video. His bladder had already let go. The officer is innocent until proven guilty in a true court of law, if any still exist. By the facts you have stated, Floyd was in grave danger, unconscious or possibly dead before the knee was removed. While on the gurney and before he was loaded in the ambulance his hands are visibly seen tied on top of his chest. This is the way people are done to prevent their hands from falling off the side of the gurney. He was not still handcuffed.

To spread the possibility that the officer did everything "by the numbers" is NOT going to help law enforcement across this whole country and probably not the world. Today, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter charges would be filed against officer Chauvin. The criminal complaint, citing the autopsy, pointed out that Floyd did not die from strangulation but a combination of being restrained along with various underlying medical conditions including heart disease and hypertension.

Innocent until proven guilty, right? Leave this in the hands of the FBI and the Minnesota justice system.
