It's hard to protest if you're afraid to leave your home? Criminals released from prison and jail aren't afraid to break any laws, especially kicking in the door to your home.

I have a fully loaded 9mm with one in the chamber if they do. Then they can join the demons spoken about on that video you had up.

Here it is, Friday, and I ain't heard much about it. We did have a protest here in Vermont. All of the protesters arrived in one extended cab pickup truck. All six of 'em left the State House grounds after a while. If any released criminals try to break in, the dogs will let us know, and those bullets from my M1 will hurt.
There is cause for protests. To slow the spread of this C19 virus, we have shut down businesses, so folks can't get to work, can't get paid, but banks are still charging interest on loans and taxes are still coming due, and landlords are still collecting rent. We need a sort of National Time Out. Everything stops except vital services. To avoid destroying faith in the US dollar, go to something like the ration stamps we used during WWII, and when this health crisis is over, reimburse merchants who have taken these stamps for food and fuel in dollars. It's not like our money still had a little message beside George's picture that said "This certifies that there is on deposit in the treasury of the United States, one dollar in silver, payable to the bearer on demand." It's just printed paper, so ration stamps would be just as good.

Actually ration stamps would be better, America's broke it has been since the recession. Nobody paid much attention to it, in fact they diverted you to almost anything else.

Two lines of defense? You mean the dogs and that M1 I presume. That old M98 that Dad sent me from the Bulge when I was 12, is now partially retired. I've taken deer with it and stopped a couple of attempted home invasions as well. Never had to shoot anybody 'cause I know the General Orders. The command "Halt! Who's there?" followed by the sound of a five round clip slipping into a Mauser and the unmistakable sound of the bolt slamming shut, has been enough to send 'em running. Stay safe and healthy.
