This guy just said he hopes that includes you. Before that, he said to Kevyn, "you deserve to get it".

A couple of days ago someone he was talking to who was talking about helping an elderly lady by putting her mail parcels in her trunk as she was being cautious, and this guy told the person helping the elderly lady, "you should've fake sneezed on her just to scare her". The same day he posted something about one of his fellow citizens in a store who told him, "six feet man". This guy then proudly said, "so I told him to back the f#&k up". But before he told us that, he had to be sure we knew this was "a big guy" too.
He calls people "lil guy" and obviously feels a need to convey to us that he is some king of big tough guy.

He's constantly calling anyone who disagrees with him troll, snowflake, liar, brain-dead, etc. He also obviously thinks elderly people don't matter as his go-to reply as to number of deaths is always something akin to this, "yeah, but how many were in nursing homes"?

Cumulatively, all of these things things tell us all we need to know about this guy's character and what kind of person he is. He seems to have anger/ unhappiness issues. I hope for his sake he gets them resolved. Meanwhile, don't let his insults and name calling get to you.

yep.
By December 1918, the deadly second wave of the Spanish flu had finally passed, but the pandemic was far from over. A third wave erupted in Australia in January 1919 and eventually worked its way back to Europe and the United States. It’s believed that President Woodrow Wilson contracted the Spanish flu during the World War I peace negotiations in Paris in April 1919.

The mortality rate of the third wave was just as high as the second wave, but the end of the war in November 1918 removed the conditions that allowed the disease to spread so far and so quickly. Global deaths from the third wave, while still in the millions, paled in comparison to the apocalyptic losses during the second wave.

Only way to get the country over this is with “herd immunity” or wait until a vaccine which may or may not work to be invented. Trouble with that solution is the millions whose quality of life will be ruined because we shut the economy down.

6 or 7 weeks ago we didn't know the different meds that pretty much cure the virus, now we do.

The number of cases will rise; the number of deaths will not since those likely to die continue to be sequestered and protected.

Even if these stupid clowns are right and we get a surge in October, what does opening up in May have to do with October ? An October surge will happen or it won't happen, no matter what we do over the summer. In the meantime people can at least work over the summer.

Opening up now calms down cabin fever. It helps build herd immunity, and it just feels right.

You do realize SEW accused me of basically wanting the old geezers to die. So I give it right back. You seem to not be able to tell when someone is "funnen" with others. The "big guy" walked up on me. Then tells me, I'm too close. I'm five foot six so I am sure he thought I would be intimidated. I've dealt with a lot of these people for a long time on this site and know who's probably a troll. Kevy, the guy you admire is one of the nastiest on here and has been for a long time. I'm one of the happiest people you'd ever meet and do charity work and give heavily to others. Arch and I have a good time with all you keyboard warriors. As far as tough guy goes, don't have to be tough on a computer when your anonymous, "as in go cubs". Exactly why I leave my real name and city. Want to insult me to my face I am very easy to find. You, are what we see here often. Whine and moan all the time but never answer a direct question; hence a snowflake. I will give you this; you are much more civil than most lefties on here and myself for that matter. By the way; I never lie on here as many do. I may be wrong and if proven admit it, but never lie. Looks like I got under your skin. Good.

It seems more and more, that if it will hurt Trump the liberals would like to see more sick people.

If you believe herd immunity is a viable solution to CV-19, you may want to check out the two articles I just posted on the subject from Johns Hopkins.

Have you seen/heard of any cases of the Spanish flu in the past 100 years?

Oh, it worked alright, but to reach herd immunity w/ Spanish Flu was quite costly. The number of deaths was estimated to be at least 50 million worldwide with about 675,000 occurring in the United States. That's my point about reaching herd immunity with CV-19. Experts are predicting it would cost approximately 500,000 American deaths to obtain it w/ out a vaccine. Do yourself a favor and research it.
