Sorry to hear that my friend. Maybe that was the real reason, for Windows 10. Check with some local computer repair shops. You can get some really good deals on rehabbed computers, people never picked up or paid for. Call first and ask.

Just remember, memory is the most important question. Especially, if you like to save a lot of things. If you have a lot of memory in your current Win 10 computer maybe they can swap it out? They can probably delete Win 10 and replace it with an earlier version also. If that's what you want.

When I had Windows, I always had lots of problems. It's the oldest system out there and has many cracks in its operating system, and is very easy for hackers to break into. I now have a Chrome laptop, 5 years old, and zero problems except when I use DuckDuckGo as my browser. But flipping back and forth is pretty easy to do.

The Google browser doesn't let you access as many conservative sites as DuckDuckGo does, which means they block them on purpose. Big tech is always trying to squelch their competition. I hope, I've helped? But I'm not a computer guru, so don't start asking a lot of computer questions, I probably wouldn't be able to help much.

I'm with you on that every time they update I have problems but I was able to see the video. Also, I have foxfire now that's a train wreck updates on that causes problems as well. My son says it's the things I download but I went ahead and got AVG it tunes up my computer checks for viruses all that good stuff and it says I don't have viruses my son just shakes his head and walks away

I hate Windows 10. Unfortunately, Microsoft has no tech support anymore for earlier versions of Windows OS.
I have had great results with ACG. I have some problems with email when I use Google and they go away when I use Microsoft Edge (formerly Internet Explorer). It a good idea to become familiar with several browsers and search engines. Have them available when you are having problems with one.

I only use google Microsoft is on my computer but it also gives me problems even though I don't ever use it pops up says I need to update my password but since I've never used it I have never entered a password. But when it pops up like that it freezes up my computer I have to use the alt/ctrl delete to get out the whole windows/Microsoft is flawed liked my window 7 I knew where everything was it was easy to find things. In fact THEY installed windows 10 when I was asleep I didn't have any say in it and I don't think that was right to begin with. On certain days my computer would update at times I had picked while I was asleep. I dont leave it on anymore at night
