The proud republican is correct as far as she went. It appears that Democrat Fauci is doing everything possible to continue the lock down and destroy the economy till the election. The rescue plan was padded so unemployed generally can make more by not working to further damage the economy.

Personally, I think both Trump and Biden stink! I was originally going to vote for Biden, until I heard all these stories about his constant verbal errors and his showing signs of dementia. But I can't in good conscience vote for Trump. I guess I'll have to do what I did in 2016, when I didn't like Trump or Mrs. Clinton -- I voted for the Libertarian candidate, Gary Johnson (or Thompson; I'm not sure about the last name). I know some people out there might think I'm just throwing away my vote, but the way I see it, it's a lot better than voting for someone I really don't believe in.

Who are you calling "goober"? "Goober" is what you would call a rural person, especially one from the South, and I am neither of those. I may live in Florida, which is a Southern state, but I don't consider myself a Southerner, or a "country boy" (the area where I live is more of a suburban neighborhood than a rural territory).
