Next time NY needs help....I don't think they will get any, and it will be completely their fault.
What is wrong with you?

Pelosi wants them to have a boatload of money to fix the problems the Dems created.

>>>You don't seen to be able to read. They got those donations way before New York came begging them for help. They set up the hospital and cared for hundreds of patients without charge or compensation. Volunteers. Then this idiot says he will tax them. For what. Bailing his failing butt out of a crises, that is part his fault for not preparing better for the crisis, and replenishing after the last crisis. He owes them. And you might consider re upping for 3rd grade. Like I said, you don't seem to be able to read and learn what this is all about.

Plus the Red cross doesn’t do much else besides providing cots and coffee.
Salvation Army was always better at charity than the Red Cross.
Red Cross has a history.
Where are they now??????
My guess is they’re out collecting money from you fools. Let’s say we have a hurricane.
The Red Cross will be the first on the scene with cots and coffee. Collecting money.
This money collected will not be used for the hurricane problems. I’m sure we both think it should but doesn’t work like that. The money collected is for future disasters.
Where is the Red Cross now ? I don't know. But if they were there, would you want to tax them too?
We have a major pandemic on our hands and nope. Not their money.
Last I heard it’s was Elizabeth Dole who sat as CEO.
Funny huh?
Another republican.

In 1967 my father had a heart attack so I was granted emergency leave to go to Iowa. The Red Cross helped me with transportation on a Bus from San Fran. to Iowa but I had to fill out forms as though I was borrowing money so the repayment could be deducted from my pay each month. I think the Salvation Army is among the best non profit organization and their leader does not get paid a 6 figure salary like the Red Cross. A friend of mine went through a hurricane in Florida and he said the Salvation Army was giving away food & coffee but the Red Cross was charging for their food & coffee.

I am cynical and skeptical. When I hear the Christian Right claiming to do things for humanity I just can’t see it. They are in church every Sunday praising the the lord in the next minute their religious hypocrisy is plain unbearable.
I do believe they have high ideals but they for everyone else to live by.

The democrats are evil hypocrites that are afraid every time the message of Jesus is displayed. They are blinded by Satan.

The Samaritan purse has been always present when disaster happens all over our country and around the world. When the Ebola crisis hit Africa in 2015, the Samaritan sent aids, and medical doctors and nurses, to help the afflicted. I think they lost one of their staffs due to the virus, but perhaps he recovered. I hope so. That is when Jesus asked us to help the sick and the helpless. And Samaritan is doing God's work.

In NY however, the government there are democrat hypocrites and traitors. They are jealous that the people will vote more for Republicans because of their relevance and service to the afflicted. The democrat officials of NY made it political when that should have been appreciated.

God summoned the Samaritan to help those in pain. God asked "whom shall I send"? The Samaritan Purse said. "Here I am Lord".

But the demon democrat party drove them away.

They bite the hand that's held out in earnest caring because that hand believes in God and his words that voice that follows this hospital the gay community fears it because it calls them out for what they do. They want to shut that voice down everywhere and that's why we see in many states the war against the church and the word of God. Like our history they want to erase God and everything he stands for.

Every year, I donate to the Salvation Army. It is one of the most honest and dedicated to the causes they provide. About 90% of the funds go to the charitable service that they provide.
They've trained lots of homeless become whole and productive again. They spend only 10% for their overhead expenses. I can check inventory of their performance and achievements all year round. And I am satisfied. I give to Red Cross too but the CEO's there are paid like lucrative business executives.

As for Salvation Army, Jesus said, "well done good and faithful servant." Matt 25: 21

I agree with you that the Salvation Army does a great job, much better than the Red Cross, which is why we donate to the Salvation Army and not to the Red Cross. But then, we also donate to our church both in money and time delivering meals to shut ins in the area.

When I brought up the Salvation Army and Red Cross it was not to equate then or say which was better. It was to question taxing Samaritans Purse and would the New York Governor also tax them,

I have bought many things from the local Salvation Army Thrift Store and donated many things there.

Milosia2,

I, too, am cynical and skeptical, when it comes to so called philanthropies. Not enough scandals have been uncovered for us to observe and condemn, a lot of them prey and profit off the national tragedies.

Such as 9/11 attack, with the March of Dimes and other scummy organizations tugged on our heart strings to make millions.

Milosia2 4, Samaritans 0.
