That's only 0.053 percent of the population, which is statistically insignificant, a tempest in a teapot. I feel sorry for those families who suffered deaths due to the virus, but overall the USA is doing quite well, and I hope we can keep it up. From what I see in various stores where I've gone into, myself gagged and gloved, only about 50 percent of the customers are bothering to protect themselves or others with a mask or gloves, which is rather selfish of them as well as being reckless and uncooperative with little to no common sense or consideration for others.
I have little fear of death or the virus even though at my age I am at greater risk, but then, I won't stand in front of a tree that is being cut down. If the virus gets me, it gets me, and that's OK, but I will continue to wear my mask and gloves rather than trying to maintain foolish and selfish macho status. After all, seeing me masked and gloved makes others feel better.
