But In most cases a virus of unknown origin and never before identified is a problem for any country. Did China delay notifying the WHO yes they did. China was treating it as pneumonia of unknown origin. So is that the WHO’s fault. But in the case of EBOLA Obama had a pandemic team in this country that consisted of military people qualified to respond to a potential outbreak, and medical professionals that were trained and ready if an unknown virus hit this country and ready to go within hours of a case being diagnosed in this country.

Under Trump we had no pandemic team as part of the NSC at the White House. So Trump ignored all warnings dating back to Nov.

Over 24 flights a day that originated in China were entering this country and landing in LA and NY. Does the WHO advocate against travel restriction yes they do because during a global pandemic supplies are needed around the world but the WHO recognizes that every country has policies and procedures place as to how each country handles to dilivery of supplies. Just look at China they manufacture just about all the PPD equipment. So do you shut all airlines no but each country has there own regulations as to how they order and receive these supplies, who enters this country.
