Adam Schiff: 50,000 Americans Died Because Our Impeachment Scam Failed

If Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) had even the slightest capacity for self-reflection, he would dedicate the next year to getting Americans to forget all about his doomed effort to throw President Donald Trump out of office.

The Schiff-led impeachment scam of late 2019 will go down in history as one of the most embarrassing failures of the American government, the Democratic Party, and Schiff himself. But instead of moving past that failure with as little noise as possible, Schiff is out there doing interviews like the one he gave MSNBC’s Chris Hayes on Friday night. Interviews in which he blames the Republican-led Senate for acquitting Trump on impeachment charges and thus…killing 50,000 Americans!

Whoa. Okay then.

“There is one thing that, really, I have to say haunts me from the trial and it was before that snippet you showed where we knew we had to answer the question to the senators, okay, essentially, house managers, you’ve proved him guilty, does he really need to be removed after all?” Schiff mused. “We have an election in nine months, how much damage could he really do?

“And we posed that question to the Senate and we answered it by saying that he could do an awful lot of damage but frankly, Chris, I don’t think we had any idea how much damage he would go on to do in the months ahead,” he continued. “There are 50,000 Americans now who are dead, in significant part because of his incompetence, because of his inability to think beyond himself and put the country first. I don’t think we would have ever anticipated that his brand of narcissism and his brand of incompetence would be so fatal to the American people.”

So, a few things here.

One, Schiff is essentially arguing that no one would have died from the coronavirus in America had Trump been removed by the Senate in January. As the media likes to say whenever Trump says something unprovable, he made this argument “without evidence.”

Two, Schiff is telling us that Mike Pence – who would have become president in the event of Trump’s removal – would have saved America from the coronavirus. Even though Mike Pence is the man in charge of coordinating the federal government’s response to the coronavirus right now? Another strange and idiotic proclamation.

Three, Schiff is rewriting history to claim that the Senate was convinced of Trump’s impeachment guilt…but eh, they didn’t really want to get involved. Let the people decide in November. We’ll let him slide on this one. There’s no evidence to suggest that this is the case. Indeed, there were extremely good defenses of Trump in that trial showing that he was well within his authority as president to withhold that money from Ukraine – that he’d done nothing at all to deserve impeachment.

But that’s Adam Schiff for you. This is a guy who still believes that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election. To expect logical coherence from him at this late date is to set yourself up for disappointment.

That's the problem the Senate wouldn't allow eveidence they didn't care if he was guilty
And because of their lack of balls let the biggest threat to national security remain in office
We will see how that works for them in November

I saw Gowdy say prosecutions will never happen to these people because there's no law to deal with it.

The biggest threat to the USA was and may still be the FBI (some bad players in high power) the DOJ (same situation) the DNC, Fusion GPS, the Clinton campaign, Adam Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi and most of the people that continued to maintain the disruption and support the overthrow of an elected president by manufacturing false information, breaking all kinds of laws, negating all kinds of personal freedoms and fostering, perpetuating and maintaining a false narrative of wrongdoing!!!

Have a friend who worked at a zoo and gave the monkey one while they were doing the examinations to make sure the monkey was healthy, While the monkey was able to figure out how to use it, but that does not mean that everyone can figure out how it is done.
