Now his latest ploy - he was being sarcastic when he raised the foolish possibility of using disinfectant inside people's bodies to fight coronavirus. Right.

The only good thing to come out of COVID is that Trump is exposing himself for all to see him as the village idiot that he is. Payback will come in November.

IMHO: President Trump did make a mistake, but not what has been described here.

His first, and biggest mistake was not firing each and every one of the people in the Whitehouse who had any connection(s) to the Deep State, Establishment, Obama, Clinton, the Bushes, or Communism/Democrat/Progressives his first day in office.

His second mistake was listening to the Progressive Democrat agitprop, lies, confusion, obstructionism, and the rest of their bullshit, which is akin to a lot of the anti-Trump, anti-USA, bullshit I'm hearing from Congress, most particularly the House of Representatives (who doesn't represent anyone but themselves and their Deep State), and the continual agitprop and garbage I'm reading in this and other posts on OPP.

Then "We The People" made the third big mistake by listening to those people listed above or connected to the DNC and/or NWO, thus giving control of the Congress to the Socialist Establishment, Democrats and RINOs. Mother Inferior Pelosi should not be running the country, which she is trying very hard to do with her "do damned little other than obstruct President Trump" House of Representatives. A lot of the fault for this is due to the Deep State takeover of our Public Education System that is Programming, Indoctrinating, Brainwashing or whatever mind control system you care to call it as a euphemism, debilitating the minds of our children for the last several decades with socialist trash! Whatever you call it, it is destructive to the USA! Our Public Education system is pumping out a product of misinformed and self-centered children who have no ability nor desire to properly run a Republic and a what's in it for me attitude, entirely dependent upon a socialist totalitarian government for their existence! Of course, destruction of the USA is the Primary Goal of the Deep State/UN/Soros Agendas.

As a result, President Trump gets piss poor, obstructive, destructive, anti-USA advice from these left-overs, and the country falls into the Deep State trap of socialism because of it.

Any good manager listens to the advice of his advisors whom he trusts; it's just that in this case most of his advisors are Alynski trained smooth talking socialists that can't be trusted, who have the irresponsible lack of backing of the Main Stream Media. Don't be blaming President Trump, because it falls on the Deep State socialist NWO and UN bastards that want to rule the world; and in order to get their Agenda 21 and 30 to work they must first destroy the USA and our Constitution as we know it. If the Deep State operatives are allowed win due to the inactivity of our Complacent Patriotic Conservatives, welcome back to totalitarian poverty, slavery, and a King! As for me, we fought a war to get out from under a damned King and I don't want another one, so down with Pelosi and her Kingdom - - - Go President Trump!!!!

I agree with your. Gone is the Democratic party who liked America. They now seem to want to get President Trump with baseless accusations. He should have fired everybody from prior. They now back-stab him. This country has become quite polarized . After reading various books I see it as a reason to never retreat to Democratic leadership. Trump is right: The do-nothing Dems are at it again!!

FYI: You might temper your response if you were aware of what a disinfectant includes:

Webster

dis•in•fect•ant dĭs″ĭn-fĕk′tənt►

n.
An agent, such as heat, radiation, or a chemical, that destroys, neutralizes, or inhibits the growth of disease-carrying microorganisms.

This could include Bourbon, Scottish or Irish Whisky, Vodka, Rum, Brandy, Wine, or even a Vaccination, Antibiotics, or Flu Shot, so quit bitching about everything President Trump says, even when he is "brainstorming" with his advisors. He's just floating ideas, and science is full of "floated ideas" both good and bad; Henry Ford, Tom Edison, Nikola Tesla, Jonas Salk, Aristotle, Jesus Christ, and many more great men throughout history were accused of insanity when they expressed a new idea, but some of their ideas worked quite well, others got them killed. Freedom of Expression, ideas included, isn't such a bad thing.

Yes, Webster’s definition provides broad examples of disinfectants. But we all know (and most people believe) he was referring to cleaning chemicals used to disinfect a surface. Brainstorming is fine – when done in the proper setting. But in this case it was dangerous – on TV by the president. His influential statement may cause some people to make deadly decisions.
Look at what happened in Iran where many believed in a dangerous treatment. More than 700 people have died after ingesting toxic methanol, erroneously thinking it can cure the new coronavirus. Iranian health ministry spokesman, Kianoush Jahanpour, said 5,011 people had been poisoned from methanol alcohol, adding that some 90 people have lost their eyesight or are suffering eye damage from the alcohol poisoning.

First, yes, President Trump asked a stupid question. No doubt about that. So do you agree that the PC narrative stating 'there are no stupid questions' is BS?

Second, I submit anybody stupid enough to drink bleach is doing the gene pool a favor by doing so. Think Darwin award.

In the right setting I would agree there is no stupid question. But in a televised press conference where that question could yield influence, it was a poor choice.
