As I can't get pregnant, but can cause a woman to become pregnant, I tend toward letting a woman determine what to do with her body in terms of abortion. I realize that by outlawing abortion that will not stop abortions from occurring. Prohibition didn't work. The war on drugs hasn't done all that we'd hoped it would.
Row vs Wade was passed to allow women that were going to get abortions, regardless of its legality, to do so in a sterile, clean environment, using medical devices and personnel; instead of in a dirty back alley and using rusty coat hangers by someone who has no medical training.
That being said, I have to agree that finding out that the remains of aborted fetuses are being used as fuel at power plants, is very disturbing and wrong. I thought that any and all human body parts were, by law, to be incinerated in an oven expressly designed for that purpose. These ovens are designed to guarantee that any and all parts and organisms were totally destroyed and can't be accidentally released into the environment. I worked at a fossil fuel power plant. While the boilers are hot, the fuel-feeding systems aren't designed to be organism tight.

That being said. My original premise with Compe doo doo was that for one, I don't really believe the story. More than likely it (said power plant feed stream) has additional medical waste such as: placentas, livers, kidney, hair, bones, you know medical flotsam. I propose that the plant is recovering heat that would just be exhausted and using the heat to heat a boiler. Again, I haven't verified any of this, but 1st trimester human "baby" in addition to other medical waste streams need to be cremated due to human pathogens. Again, the more I know the less I want to know.
...I'm gonna go home chew on some teriyaki flavored soylent green....
