In 2013, the United States Internal Revenue Service, under Barack Obama, admitted that it had selected political groups applying for tax-exempt status for intensive scrutiny based on their names or political themes. Among those, first and foremost, were prominent Tea Party groups, who were denied tax-exempt status during the 2012 presidential, destroying their effective ability to attract prominent donors.
The Tea Party, at present, based on their news releases, are again gaining strength and members.

Glad to hear that because a lot of run of the mill Republicans are just stooges for the left and they have no more care for American rule of law than do any of the Democrats.

I am finding it very informative that most of the folks on OPP have jumped to proclaim loudly that they are not racist. In my experience this usually is a marker for how deeply buried the racism is in that individual.
The post was intended to remind us all to look inward and examine our own prejudices, whether they be about race, religion, politics or other things. I seem to have failed at that goal, and miserably.
Racism, like many prejudices, is insidious, and crops up in many ways.
I doubt we will ever get to be a post-racist society; at least not in my lifetime.
But that doesn't mean we should stop working on it.

Your "marker" as you describe it, might better described your own personally held deep prejudices.
I agree that racism and prejudices over race will never be conquered in this world where free will governs behavior. Furthermore, racism was never reasoned into a man and it won't be reasoned out of him with all the force fed social secular mandatory classes found in every organization. Racism requires a change of heart and only One can accomplish that change
PaulPices. What makes you such an expert?
personally I don't care about the general topic, but when one assumes I might occasionally respond. I don't know how most people were brought up, but I had a pretty good sense of my community.

Why would I work to prove myself innocent of the standard insult from the lefties that I am a raysiss?
I have nothing to prove and no guilt whatsoever about racism. I am now the victim. You are the racist.

You're living the life. 👍
Wow, that is a schedule I would have given much for during my past years of office 9 to 5.
Now, around the clock, there is no schedule, I sleep three hours, remain awake five or six, and sleep again, repeat. There is great joy in a lack of regimentation!
Your ability to sleep for seven plus continuous hours is a fait accompli within itself!
Surely, your stored supply of such blessed rest will enable the Lord to accomplish great things through you, your prayers and your internet communications during this new week.

If not for President Trump, I would be embarrassed to call myself a Republican at this point, based on the performance of the Republican House and Senate during his tenure.
For eight years, they rolled over for Barack Obama through fear of being called racists!
On average, 22 House members retire each cycle, Roll Call reported. But in 2018, about six dozen Republicans either resigned or retired.
Those who had the courage to run have actively opposed President Trump more than they ever did his predecessor (Obama).
With the exception of only a handful, most have shown interest only in feathering their own exclusive nests, while the country at large goes to hell in a hand basket.
As to the elected Democrats, I have no idea if they actually believe themselves to be engaged in serving a physical country, but if so, it is most definitely not this United States.
You speak truth when you label most of the nation's elected lawgivers as lawless... for indeed they are - and entirely Constitutionless as well!

What an interesting way to undermine a political party and a nation. Worthy of Stalin's brightest agents and propagandists.
Racism is the very least of this nation's problems, and only exists to the extent it does because the MSM creates it where it does not exist, especially, MSNBC and CNN have no other cause, and all Democrats have no other platform to loudly proclaim.
Your own incorrect and totally unproven assertion that "proclaiming oneself not a racist is the mark of a racist," is merely a bleedover from the lying use of that same argument by every homosexual activist for years, that "condemning the act of homosexuality labels one as a closet homosexual."
The homosexual claim was always wrong, just as is your accusatory racist claim.
Those who make such claims need to own more hand mirrors, carry one with them at all times, and gaze into them whenever even tempted to label others, when they have neither proof nor direct knowledge of the truth of their accusation.

PJT, I have no idea to what you are referring.
Do you?
Unless you hit the "quote reply" button, before hitting "reply" only, you place your response in total limbo, as there is no reference, or hint of a clue as to what it is you believe you are responding.
