The Center for Disease Control has spent money on left-leaning advocacy in the past. In fact, that’s one of the reasons that the organization is limited in what kind of research they can perform on firearm control in the United States; they spent taxpayer money in the 90’s writing advocacy pieces, not scientific research, pushing left-wing propaganda.

Republican Ron Bassilian, who is currently running for a Congressional seat in California, is a reformed democrat. He discovered recently that the CDC diverted $3 million dollars to a far-left group which advocated for democrat candidates and Obama-backed legislation. That is NOT the intended purpose of CDC funding.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/jul/21/steve-bannon-plans-foundation-to-fuel-far-right-in-europe

Steve Bannon has announced plans to establish a foundation in Europe that he hopes will fuel the spread of rightwing populism across the continent.

Donald Trump’s former chief advisor in the White House told the Daily Beast that he wanted to offer a rightwing alternative to George Soros’s Open Society Foundation, which has given away $32bn to largely liberal causes since it was established in 1984.

“Soros is brilliant,” Bannon told the website. “He’s evil, but he’s brilliant.”

The foundation, which Bannon said would be called The Movement, will offer polling, advice on messaging and data targeting and research to a network of rightwing parties across Europe that are enjoying a significant surge in support.

Bannon has met rightwing politicians across the continent in the past 12 months, including Ukip’s former leader, Nigel Farage, members of Marine Le Pen’s Rassemblement National in France and Hungary’s Viktor Orbán.

He told the Daily Beast that he envisioned a “supergroup” within the European parliament that could supply as many as a third of MEPs after next May’s Europe-wide elections. He also said he planned to spend half of his time in Europe once the US midterm elections are over in November.

Why would I bother to post anything to refute it. Fake news is the rights go to answer to any fact put out by the media, guess it'll work for the left just as well. Sooo anything you can post is "fake news" president says so.

IOW, you can't refute it. No problem.

Absolutely: I base many - if not most - of my stances on fact and/or truth. Obviously, some things have to do with one's moral tenets and can influence personal and political stances.

"Moral tenets" Trump supporters have no "moral tenets". Morals and Trump don't belong in the same sentence, the man lies repeatedly every day just to make himself feel good and you people suck it up like a kid at the soda shop. If you're on the front lines for trump you're on the wrong side of America and history.

Making a comment such as that immediately labels you as a bigot. Do you make generalizations like that about African Americans? Jews?

This is not labeling, there is a running count of lies or inaccurate statements the president has told while in office, I quit watching when it got up to 6 a day.
I respect people until they show no reason for that respect, I do not respect liars or thieves. Trump has proven to be both.
As far as people of other colors or nationalities, my belief is there is only one race on this planet the human race.

You made the comment about “Trump supporters have no moral tenets”, not Trump himself. That is a broad generalization (or labeling), or bigoted - whatever you wish to call it.

And I made that comment because Trump backers follow him like sheep. If he lies and they know it they still take a stand behind him. Someone who won't stand by the truth is as bad as a liar and a liar and a thief walks in the same shoes. If bigotry is disliking lies, guess I'm guilty.

You just can’t help yourself, can you?

President Trump is getting the job done. Most people who back him care very little about his rhetoric, his playboy billionaire lifestyle, etc. Bottom line: he’s a fighter - something that has been lacking.
