What is it with rich but stupid republicans running their racist mouths and doing it when others can see it and hear it, and then lamely whining and crying that they were "misquoted" or "taken out of context"

Maybe sterling should invite the bundy klan to his next game, and sit together. They can share their racist, bigtoed comments and complain about the unfairness of being exposed for being a racist.

I must be getting old, but I remember a time when conversations were not always recorded and wrote about in newspapers. I wonder when it became the business of the entire nation what two people say in private conversations. I also wonder, when will it become illegal to have a private thought that is not politically correct. It is just my opinion, but what a person thinks or discuss with their significant other is private and one should not have to worry about people invading that privacy with tape recorders, video cameras, or cell phone recordings. It would seem to me that the discussion (because the link for the actual conversation does not load) portion quoted may be just selected bites isolated to persuade the world that this man is raciest even though his girlfriend is half black and half Hispanic.

Perhaps the intent of this type of publicity is to eventually "change" every thought or personal opinion by way of making them afraid to think thoughts that are not sanctioned by others. Everyone walks in step, thinks the same thoughts, eats the same foods, live in look alike cookie cutter homes, drive the same kind of car, washes their clothes with the same detergent.............. when will the tolerance for independent thoughts/ideas become illegal and an offense where hospitalization for brain cleansing become normal?

History tells us that those who don't conform in their thinking get sent away to "re-education" centers when the take over is completed. (Under Mao and Stalin many (millions) didn't come back).

OMG! Bo. So, YES!!! There are racists in the Republican party. There are also racists in the Democratic party. But to be a Republican does not mean instant racism. Good grief, such nonsense. I am Republican. So are many of my family, friends, and acquaintances. None of us are racist. That is just getting really old, Bo. You take us back 40+ years ago and you'll find that racism was rampant. As a Christian kid, I remember getting angry when my pastor told a brave elderly black couple to go to a church of their own kind, down the street. The church taught us a song, "Jesus loves the little children of the world, red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight! Jesus loves all the children of the world." So when I heard my pastor tell this couple not to return, I asked my mother why, because Jesus loves them too. She said it was wrong, and that she was angry about it too. And I'm still angry about it. And the fact that there were black and white bathrooms and black and white water fountains, and signs in restaurant windows that said "No N------ will be Served Here." This was in Miami, FL.

NOW. We share the same bathrooms. We share the same water fountains. Restaurants serve and hire black people, as well as Hispanic, Asian and of all religions. And down here in the south even! With all us Republicans! Imagine that!!

Sure there is some racism out there. But America has come a very long way in the last 40 years. I've had bosses that were black. 40 years ago you would find blacks in service jobs only. The blacks will get many more grants to universities, as many poor white kids get turned down. For crying out loud, our PRESIDENT is half black!!!

Is there racism in our country? Yes. But it is rare compared to what it once was. We have come a long way, Bo, and Republicans and Democrats had a lot to do with what we have accomplished.

But NOW, we have hate brewing for conservatives/Christians. And for what reason? It's not racism. I can attest to that. I believe it's because we disagree with the Liberal, progressive agenda.

It's time the Liberals develop thicker skin. Or are you going to keep "running to mommy crying 'The other kids won't help me steal the money from that rich guy!!! I bet they won't help me because I have a tan!!!'"

Enough of the racist accusations. It's ridiculous.

If this man should begin to burn crosses, refuse to hire someone due to the color or lack thereof of skin, or accent, or sexual orientation; then you would have a beef. But, because he had a private conversation, and someone decided that he did not have a right to speak his mind freely, they recorded him and now people like you are damning him to hell just because of that conversation. That is wrong!

I will be totally honest with you, I am very selective as to the nature of the people I dislike. There are not many on that list, right now I would say that there are 3.....and I know quite a few people. Before your comment, there were only 2. No one is ever going to control my private thoughts. One day, private thoughts will become the property of others, until that day what I think is my business and should I have a private conversation, what I say in that conversation is not the business of anyone other than myself and the person I am speaking with. And if you really want to see someone that is intolerant, a bigot, you need to look no further than the mirror; I am sure that you do not get too far away from one....
