This is truly not a thread worth "playing catch up" on.

The originating post was a parody. Many failed to understand. They took it literally and it has now gone 12 pages. It is very similar to a past thread where you state, "I cannot believe this has gone this many pages." This is also the thread where yours truly totally lost any semblance of dignity.

AuntiE; compared to some of the things that have been said on this topic, your earlier comments were like love poetry.

I thought I had seen some truly awful exchanges on other topics in the past, but some of the remarks made on these last 12 pages really shocked me.

How did our country's politics become so polarised? Why do American liberals and conservatives accuse each other of treason and the other things when we disagree on issues? Why can't we exchange ideas and sometimes just agree to disagree? I wish someone could tell me, but I don't think any of us really know the answer. :-(

What most people here don't ever seem to see is that what we once called liberal has become progressive since that bunch replaced the liberals in the Democrat party. Progs aren't all liberals although some liberals are progs. It is past time for many people to look around and find that liberals just aren't the same thing as progressives. Progs could well be called Marxists since that is basically what they stand for.

I personally have never to date heard of the 50,000 Russian troops at any time, But, ....I have read an article on OB's "silent move" of 26,000 muslim Hamas troops, and their families were brought here by Obasturd, housed and fed at our expense, ....and Germany was 'asked' for 15,000 more troops...Yes, these are facts, .....

Also a worry of OB's that American troops will NOT fire upon their own citizens, should he decide to :
call for "Martial Law"...He has written more "E.O".'s than all other pres. together...Telling the Military Chaplins they CANNOT preach , and the troops cannot hold prayer...WOW

I truthfully would like to know where you found all of this ammo, when I went online to find .357 mag, 12 gauge, and 300 magnum rifle ammo, I was told they are "ALL SOLD OUT...!!! Any hint of the store that has it ???????? :lol:

The stores are here in Florida . I said that now , once the paranoia generated by the phony conspiracy theories has died down , ammunition is readily available .

The Right is endlessly setting up strawmen, such as the "fact" that Obama has an elite team of Russian troops to defend him and take care of any dissidents. Start to defeat something so preposteous and you end up giving it credence. Same as the Birth Certificate. As soon as he bothered to show it, the birther issue grow exponentially.

We did not confiscate Free Speech by making slander and plagiarism wrong. Such exceptions did not limit but protected free speech; universal backgroung checks are the same thing.
