We live in the country too and the deer and foxes are plentiful. Right now the does have gone to higher ground, where they will remain until they have their fawns and the fawns are about 4 weeks old. So for now the only deer we see are the yearlings. The 2 year old does are staying with the does ready to fawn to help protect this years fawns when they arrive. The Carolina wrens are in abundance, as are the piliated woodpeckers. Just about time to till the garden and get it ready to plant. We have someone who is a lot younger do the heavy work, as we are almost 80, and can't do the hard work any more. Was thinking that life was going to get easier then this Chinese virus came along.
