The Governor of Illinois (bear with me-this is going to sound tangential) was on CNN this morning complaining that he didn't get order for 2400 ventilators. He stated that VP Pence, said that they are using the projection models for Washington state to determine the numbers. The Governor went on to complain that model is flawed without the benefit of saying that they used a different model. I put that to a bit of thought experiment-The Washington State model is the best because-it projects without the sheltering in place (I assume) and yet Jake Trapper didn't bring that up....hmmm...alternative truth. Politics at work.

Where am I going with this?

What a lost opportunity to point out vaccinating and herd immunity. But more to come....
