First the presidential salary is $400,000, not 450000, and it is paid quarterly, so trump gives $100k each quarter to a government agency, but do not forget that taxes are takken out, so the amount is somewhere around 80-85k
And 4 other presidents either donated their enitire presidential salary or a portion of it. And President Obama donated the entire 1.4 million dollars he received for the Nobel Peace Prize.
So trump was not the first or only, no matter what lies he and his lying supporters claim
You can look up the other presidents who donated their salary if you are not too lazy

Where did you read in Comment's comment that he claimed Mr. Trump was the only President to donate his presidential salary? Obama donated his Nobel Prize money because he was shamed into doing so lest it be called The Ignoble Peace Prize in the future.To his credit he knew he was not deserving and we know it was primarily because of his skin color and future anticipated great expectations that never materialized. Finally, following your suggestion, I investigated other presidents that donated their stipend and was very surprised to discover that JFK was the wealthiest president.

Continuing with your presidential wealth diatribe against Trump and following your own suggestion to investigate which three President donated their entire stipend and then discovering that JFK was the wealthiest president, which I question, I was wondering if you know how the Kennedy fortune was made by the father, Joe Kennedy? Now it's your own turn to educate yourself and demonstrate how ignorance, hate, and presumptive lies distort Truth. And wasn't JFK the model of a faithful husband even while serving as president? Of the two fortunes, Kennedy & Trump, which was gained honestly? Of the two families and their children which has been the more stable?
