Myth #1: America spends too much on foreign aid
Not a myth: Anything spent on foreign aid (especially right now) is too much.

You stated "While some of it is wasted - you have to be stupid not to believe that - overall it's put to good use."
Please produce good data on this.

I did provide data. Read for yourself of over 191million links from a google search and you be the judge (if you disagree, that's your prerogative). The Brooking Institute disagrees with you on Myth #1.

I think it probably depends on what will that aide go towards. It should be humanitarian or to help a country get back on its feet, say after a disaster, so it can be self-sufficient. In the years of BHO, it upset me greatly that money went to terrorist who wished to destroy us and our way of life!

I'm trying to think of a country we should keep sending to. The answer is no obviously. Nobody is sending to us.

Absolutely not.

If there were to be an exception, I would say Israel. Reason: As long as Israel exists, the radical Muslims will be directing most of their anger against them. They act as a 'buffer'.....

Agree, but only them!

The Brookings Institute can disagree all they want. The info they put out is how much we pay. My basic belief it should not go anywhere but here.

Same with this: It tells all about where the money goes....not interested - it should stay in the US.
"Only a minority of U.S. economic assistance goes to governments. In 2018, 21 percent of U.S. official development assistance went to governments, 20 percent to non-profit organizations, 34 percent to multilateral organizations, and 25 percent elsewhere. Typically, when the U.S. wants to support a country that is ruled by a corrupt, uncooperative, or autocratic government, U.S. assistance goes through private channels—NGOs or other private entities—or multilateral organizations. Accountability of U.S. economic assistance is high—the U.S. imposes stringent, some would say onerous, reporting and accounting requirements on recipients of U.S. assistance, and the office of the U.S. inspector general (IG) investigates misuse."

If an individual or a group chooses to help those in another country - great. There are ways to do that (and many do). But tax dollars should be used for America and Americans till we have taken adequate care of our own.

Schools, hospitals, and agricultural expertise are not “entanglements”.

The greatest nation in the world has a responsibility to coordinate with the rest of the world, believe it or not other countries can contribute substantially to our crisis, we do not have a president that plays well with others.

Other countries are offering, trump will pay hundreds of billions to our drug companies rather than take free help.

We have NO RESPONSIBILITY to others. As I said, most is classified, but I can tell you the virus could and would have been much worse if Trump was here. They fed you some story and you bit it hook, line and sinker.

And what makes you think we aren't able to do both?

I do not mind helping other nations, but it seems to me, and I have not been able to source this, that I heard Tucker Carlson the other night say that we sent ventilators and massive amounts of medical supplies to CHINA-now surely, since we apparently need those things here, and since China has tried to blame us for this mess, and since China would not allow our medical people to come into the country, and it has shown itself to in many ways be unfriendly, not to say an enemy of the US, that nation would be the absolute last that we would aid in any way. (Tucker Carlson usually has good sources and things are checked out pretty thoroughly as far as I can tell.) Call that unChristian, if you like, but Christianity is illegal in that nation, I believe, so they should not be too upset about that. Apparently they think Christians are enemies of their state. I could, I suppose, compare it to Iran, but then Iran is a paper tiger these days-at least for the moment.
