Not really...

We have the common flu numbers...

We can extrapolate from those..

That's what the Imperial College of London tried to do.

The mortality rate is not accurate. We don't have completed data. CFR changes as more testing is done. My comment is based upon known numbers and reported numbers on covid. Is have to do an Imperial College model to do what you're asking. And they can't even make sense of their "model."

Of course the mortality rate is not accurate... It won't be until this is over...

But we can still make estimates based on current numbers...

As data changes the estinates will become more accurate...

So here is the monkey in those numbers. First thing to be aware of is the fact that there are a lot of people that don't run to there doctor every time the get a sniffle so there are a lot off flu's that don't get reported.mainly do to the fact that the cost of going to see a doctor cost more than they can afford to go see one.Just saying and there are more thing that cause people to not go to the see there doctor's. Trusting there doctor's is a big one to say the least .

Add to that is the fact that many, if not most, dr's offices have closed, thus for everything, their patient's have no choice but the ER.

Your method puts the common flu numbers even higher... Making the mortality rate even lower... That's frightening when we apply it to this virus....

The same can be said for the virus. There’s no way of knowing everyone who had it.

No... But we do know the number which require hospitalization... Which is far higher than the common flu... And the mortality rate among those.... Also far higher...

We know the number that end up in the hospital. There’s no doubt many cases have been missed

Explain how that matters?
