Trump Says He Knew This Was A Pandemic A Long Time Ago

This is perhaps the only thing that's worse than the ignorance, stupidity, and pure incompetence he has displayed since December, when the world should have know we had bad news coming at us like a freight train.

The lack of testing being in any realm of adequacy is Trump's fault, he had a reason, he was locking down the control of testing to two major companies so they could make massive profits on overpriced testing they had a monopoly on.

As emergency measures are pulled out at a cost of tens of billions of dollars there are ways this president who thinks of business and profits rather than people and deaths is still going to do many things wrong in the interest of siphoning off billions of dollars. Already one of his first priorities is the "hospitality" industry, and his hotels and resorts will be at the very top of the list of emergency payouts. That can come after respirators, beds, and testing is under control, that is the emergency, not his anticipated loss of revenue in hos hotels.

To put is simply, your post is a lot of Baloney. As an aside, did you look up the definition of "pandemic"? A pandemic is a communicable disease that has spread to a large number of countries. A disease being classified as a pandemic says nothing about the seriousness of the disease, it could have a fatality rate of 50% or 0.005%. It also doesn't say anything about the ability of the disease to end up in a country that is currently not infected. In other words, knowing in advance that a disease is most likely going to turn into a
pandemic is valueless without a great deal additional data.

Our CDC experts did a substantial model, and it matched the british one closely, the point being that Trump sat on worrisome information that his non existent pandemic response team at the NSC should have been all over from back in December.

Does your hatred of Trump have any limits? Just asking.

What the nation desperately needs is a several high ranking officials within the administration to publicly call trump out for his lies and buffoonery and then offer their resignation. This crap has gone on far too long. At least Pence will listen to people who know what they are doing and lies to the American people a whole lot less than Trump.

Trump was already beginning a response to the coronavirus all the while the House was too busy trying to impeach him that they didn't even notice!! The democrats didn't even know about it until Trump had bee reacting to it for weeks already.

Per fellow OPP poster, dtucker300 - "Congress was busy with Trump's impeachment trial, and whether witnesses should be called, while he was closing the borders and taking other xenophobic actions (according to blathering Joe) to control the virus from spreading. Even the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Asia didn't take up the coronavirus issue until the day before or day of Trump's State of the Union message where Pelosi, in a pre=planned temper tantrum, torn up the speech."

First of all, no one was all over it "back in December" b/c the first case China admitted to was on December 27. Second the duties of the pandemic team in the NSC were transferred to the CDC and the re-organization has zero deleterious effect on our response.

And then Trump talking about banning flights from China and Pelosi called him a racist and said he was over reacting.

When this kind of thing happens, it's stupid to start panic before it's necessary.
Unless, of course, you happen to be a non-thinker.

What OPP desperately needs is for the likes of you to quit with your steady stream of filth and trash talking and act like an adult for once. Or maybe from now on.

If Obama and Hillary had spied on me with 17 intel agencies and 5 Eyes, I'd spy on them right back. I think the NSA has been listening to all confirmed deep state players in the opposition party. Even on Epstein's island. You know they can listen to your conversations even if your phone is off and can use the camera to see your surroundings. They already have Weiner's and Huma's computer and all of Hillerons e-mails. It's just a matter of timing on their release.

They have officially changed the time limit of a recession. It used to say over two quarters but now says over several months. That can mean as soon as two months. So we probably will have a recession. Thanks to the non-stop braying jack asses in the fake news media. I think Ireland or Scotland has a major pharmaceutical plant that would love our business until we get ours back and running again. The Nat'l Emergency gives Trump the authority to order our companies out of China. They can come home or anywhere else that's suitable to the President. I'm sure talks have been held and decisions made already.
