They are certainly finding out now. They are also having to deal with the economic impact as well. Their 401k's/portfolios/etc have lost huge value as well.

So did I. Remember it is the left that claims quarantening people from other countries is RACIST unless the people are white people of European background. Other people MUST be allowed in with no limits, particularly if they are African, Oriental, or Austrailian in background or it will be decliared hateful and illegal and not permitted no mater what.

Why wasn't the Ovommit administration ready for this epidemic? His administration should have had thousands of kits available and ready to be used. Ovommit screws up again.

It's called quarantine standards, which isn't far from the way they are held in prisons anyway.

Most individuals coming down with the Wuhan virus are demorats. The virus feeds on the weak and feeble, so demorats are excellent vectors for this virus. It is time to round the Dementiacrats up and put them in holding cells much like the cells that ovommit put the little illegal innocent 3rd world children in at the border. Let all demorats actually feel what it's like to be locked in an ovommit cage.

I am extremely irritated at the demorat party and their lapdogs, the major media for causing this mass hysteria, ruining the financial markets and destroying trillions of dollars in investments. I will never, ever vote demorat again and neither should anyone on this site.

You are way away from new numbers by less than half, and it has now been accepted that this is ten times worse than the flu.

How do you make a true evaluation when we have no truths to the numbers.. Numerous cited give numerously different numbers in infected and deaths..How about the very obvious in how many have survived??? That figure doesn’t justify the panic mood of illnesses does it so we hear little of them...

How many people are killed by accidents, drugs, murders, cancer, or other illnesses like heart attacks daily???

How about these 2016 numbers~~
Of the 56.9 million deaths worldwide in 2016, more than half (54%) were due to the top 10 causes. Ischaemic heart disease and stroke are the world’s biggest killers, accounting for a combined 15.2 million deaths in 2016. These diseases have remained the leading causes of death globally in the last 15 years.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease claimed 3.0 million lives in 2016, while lung cancer (along with trachea and bronchus cancers) caused 1.7 million deaths. Diabetes killed 1.6 million people in 2016, up from less than 1 million in 2000. Deaths due to dementias more than doubled between 2000 and 2016, making it the 5th leading cause of global deaths in 2016 compared to 14th in 2000.

Lower respiratory infections remained the most deadly communicable disease, causing 3.0 million deaths worldwide in 2016. The death rate from diarrhoeal diseases decreased by almost 1 million between 2000 and 2016, but still caused 1.4 million deaths in 2016. Similarly, the number of tuberculosis deaths decreased during the same period, but is still among the top 10 causes with a death toll of 1.3 million. HIV/AIDS is no longer among the world’s top 10 causes of death, having killed 1.0 million people in 2016 compared with 1.5 million in 2000.

Road injuries killed 1.4 million people in 2016, about three-quarters (74%) of whom were men and boys.

Or how about another flu records of 2017??

According to new estimates published today, between 291,000 and 646,000 people worldwide die from seasonal influenza-related respiratory illnesses each year, higher than a previous estimate of 250,000 to 500,000 and based on a robust, multinational survey.

The new estimate, from a collaborative study by CDC and global health partners, appears today in The Lancet. The estimate excludes deaths during pandemics.

“These findings remind us of the seriousness of flu and that flu prevention should really be a global priority,” says Joe Bresee, M.D., associate director for global health in CDC’s Influenza Division and a study co-author.

The new estimates use more recent data, taken from a larger and more diverse group of countries than previous estimates. Forty-seven countries contributed to this effort. Researchers calculated annual seasonal influenza-associated respiratory deaths for 33 of those countries (57 percent of the world’s population) that had death records and seasonal influenza surveillance information for a minimum of four years between 1999 and 2015. Statistical modeling with those results was used to generate an estimate of the number of flu-associated respiratory deaths for 185 countries across the world. Data from the other 14 countries were used to validate the estimates of seasonal influenza-associated respiratory death from the statistical models.

Poorest nations, older adults hit hardest by flu

Researchers calculated region-specific estimates and age-specific mortality estimates for people younger than 65 years, people 65-74 years, and people 75 years and older. The greatest flu mortality burden was seen in the world’s poorest regions and among older adults. People age 75 years and older and people living in sub-Saharan African countries experienced the highest rates of flu-associated respiratory deaths. Eastern Mediterranean and Southeast Asian countries had slightly lower but still high rates of flu-associated respiratory deaths.

Despite World Health Organization recommendations to use flu vaccinationexternal icon to help protect people in high-risk populations, few developing countries have seasonal flu vaccination programs or the capacity to produce and distribute seasonal or pandemic vaccines.

Global flu surveillance protects all nations, including U.S.

CDC works with global partners to improve worldwide capacity for influenza prevention, yeaaaaaa righttttt

My understanding is that the test kit is a swab to gather mucous. The swab is then sent to a lab for analysis. It is here that we find the possibility for backlog however Trump's team met yesterday to get the more than 1800 hospital labs and private labs ramped up.

Now explain to me why the evil witch, Pelosi, included a billion bucks into the emergency coronavirus appropriation Bill to fund tax payer abortions? Hell isn't hot enough for her, her advocates and disciples.

Which was one of the stopping mechanisms to an agreement yesterday.. Altho this morning she claims that will be tabled today and an agreement reached...Shouldn’t be in it at all!!!
