Oh yes it was and continuing to lie about it won’t change that.

If homosexuality was understood, it would have been specifically noted; it wasn’t. It wasn’t even defined as a thing till the end of the 19th century.

It was. People always try and twist scripture into what they want it to say. Personal preferences come first.

Like this.

Sorry to employ this reviled personage and the little dorky guy to speak for me. Hope the politics and style don't distract too much from the pertinent separate points.

Just can't type that much today.

You continue to be inappropriately insulting and smugly superior?! That is what I am finding difficult to understand.

If you were to stop, I'm sure I would be bored and develop interest in what the others have to say. In fact, I AM bored with your one trick pony routine and have developed more interest in listening and responding to what the others have to say.

Also, busy making bacon wrapped tater tots and scramb!ed egg cassero!e for breakfast. And gravy. Bulking up for Spring cultivation and p!anting.

I'm relieved.
Are you sending bacon wrapped tater tots and scramb!ed egg cassero!e my way?
If you are thanks.

You make a good point. In the male urogenital system, sperm must ravel through the same tube as urine, a waste product.

This one is for Blade Runner Why are you worried about the sanctity of marriage when you have a president who has been married 3 times, bedded down with porn stars and Playboy bunnies all because a pregnant wife couldn't be tolerated when weighed against his 'manly' needs.

But hey, two men who are devoted to each other are an abomination all while Trump is treated as a savior of this once great country.

Who presents a better example for the children of this nation to follow? Trump, who treats women as if they are exchangeable upon a whim or Pete Buttigieg who is devoted to his spouse and family and treats them as if they are first in his life?

It's funny how a single Episcopal Church of God can recognize who is a better representative for the children of this nation while the whole of the Evangelical kindom are blind to what is the glaring truth!

You're conveniently overlooking a very important fact. Adulterers can repent of their sin of adultery, remarry, and live their lives as Christians within the fold. Remember, everyone sins. Nobody is excluded. The beauty of Christianity is that it recognizes this truth and allows sinners to repent and be forgiven.
The glaring difference between those who commit adultery, and repent and unrepentant sodomites is that the unrepentant sodomite continues to engage in sodomy. Or as you describe it, "Pete Buttigieg who is devoted to his spouse..." Meaning he'll engage in sodomy that night, and the next, and......" Without repentance there can be no forgiveness. Pete's brother in law, Chasten's brother, who is a pastor recently came out against Pete and said that he's twisting what scriptures says to fit his lifestyle.

Or pergaps you are being misled by an evil spirit?

Yours has trouble with reading comprehension...

And where are we on those passages?

I used to say that if I were Satan and wanted to mislead, I'd produce the Bible, with all of it's contradictions and bizarre stories. And then, I'd entice people to form "religious" groups based upon what THEY say it means. And then, I'd introduce intolerance for others beliefs which are different from others! I'd have made a fine Satan, indeed. Let people THINK they are saved and righteous when, in fact, they aren't! They'd then see no need to seek out the truth. Devious, don't you think!!??

The bible might not have "known" what homosexuality is but the bible certainly spoke of man having sexual relations with man, that is for sure!

Kemmer, don't you know anything about the Bible? Maybe you should read the Bible before commenting on it.

Not at all - its very clear. You either believe the bible is God’s word or you don’t. You pick and choose based on what you want.

This one's for me?? Oh, how sweet.

Sorry I'm late to the party. Looks like an OPP panel on religious beliefs has convened to "prove" the Bible is a fairy tale, the Bible is not true, the Bible is partly true, the Bible is true. Members of the panel have determined what the Bible says, what the Bible doesn't say, what the Bible is supposed to say, what it isn't supposed to say. The panel has argued that God exists, God doesn't exist, Jesus was just a prophet, Jesus was just a man with a mission, Jesus was not God, Jesus is God.

How many panel members have allowed the Bible to teach them what it says as opposed to those who are telling us what they think it says?

On, to Pete's question:

How do I defend against an allegation that I am "worried about the sanctity of marriage"? I'm not.

The real question here is not about how a president treats women or how he influences children. The real question is how well a POTUS handles his job.

I cannot imagine Buttleg (or Bernie or Biden or Warren or any other socialist prog) as Commander-in-Chief of our armed forces.

And that's exactly what Satan did. Only he called his bible the Quoran. And he added such juicy tidbits that only those who are killed in jihad, while killing Jews or Christians, are guaranteed their reward of paradise with 72 doe eyed virgins.
And women are considered the property of men. Who can be beaten and even killed in honor killings.
All of which targets his primary audience of uneducated, young Arab men who realize they have no other prospect for any kind of a future except to embrace Islam.
And whereas the Christian bible describes an AntiChrist in the end-times, the Quoran describes the same entity as their Mahdi, or their savior. And it says that Jesus will defer to the Mahdi and claim he was never really crucified.
Pretty slick, huh?
