Court allows Trump to withhold funds from 'sanctuary' jurisdictions
By Jonathan Stempel
NEW YORK (Reuters) - President Donald Trump's administration can withhold millions of dollars in law enforcement funds from states and cities that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities, a U.S. appeals court ruled on Wednesday.
The unanimous decision by a three-judge panel of the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan was a victory for Trump in his years-long fight with so-called sanctuary jurisdictions.
It overturned a lower court ruling directing the release of federal funds to New York City and the states of New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Virginia and Washington.

Not very complicated. If you do not want to abide by the law then you do not get the money.

the way it should be, if these cities want to take it upon themselves to break immigration laws.....the Federal Gov that enforces these laws should not be on the hook to enable these radical cities to do this with funding form them, and me ( my tax dollars)....like giving the robber a bullet so he can shoot you with it after the robbery.
When do you think states and city's say the he'll with it and refuse to send tax dollars to the government, that may be the only way we get our freedom back.

What freedoms have you lost?

All the freedom we lost with the patriot act to start with

Please spell out exactly what freedoms you lost from the Patriot Act, and since that is for starters, what else?

This is a bad C & P, can not get it to present as in the article..
The Patriot Act increases the government's power to spy in four areas
The Patriot Act increases the governments surveillance powers in four areas:
Records searches. It expands the government's ability to look at records on an individual's activity being held by a third parties. (Section 215)
Secret searches. It expands the government's ability to search private property without notice to the owner. (Section 213)
Intelligence searches. It expands a narrow exception to the Fourth Amendment that had been created for the collection of foreign intelligence information (Section 218).
"Trap and trace" searches. It expands another Fourth Amendment exception for spying that collects "addressing" information about the origin and destination of communications, as opposed to the content (Section 214).

The lawbreaking leaders will pass on the loss of revenue to their local taxpayers - so local taxpayers will pay double taxes to support foreign law breakers.

Come back to earth jimpack123. You've likely been floating around in the ozone too long, after having sprinkled fairy dust on yourself but it's time to come back to reality. Even if you were to add up the total of all votes for Biden, Bloomberg, Sanders, Warren, Mayor Pete, Klobuchar, etc., etc together, they still couldn't beat Trump. Don't you understand, that Trump's the juggernaut that right-thinking Americans have been waiting for, for decades?
Bluewave, shmuwave. In your dreams. Get used to Trump being your Commander-in Chief until the end of 2024.
MAGA! KAG! Trump 2020!
He's lost the freedom to think rationally.
