Ya gotta give Trump credit. He's been able to solve problems have only talked about solving for decades. Even Reagan talked about a wall but was snookered into allowing hoards of undocumented illegals to remain in the country in exchange for absolutely nothing in return.
Trump is used to dealing with bureaucratic types, whenever they invariably utter their favorite phrase, "You can't do that!" If he wants to finish the job (whether it's a skyscraper, hotel, condos, golf course, etc.) he can't let the bureaucrats win. He'll find a way.
High on my personal wish for Trump's second term: Line item veto on budget, Elimination of Dept. of Ed. (Reagan also tried this but backed away when he met a firestorm of opposition from the teachers union, Elimination of the EPA, more cuts to domestic spending.
