Driving on a highway, calling the police or fire department. Flying on an airline. They are federally regulated for safety at the very least. Eating safe food. It is inspected by the government. Going to your job that has safety regulations ,OSHA. Being protected by the military. Do you want to refuse these services that you pay for? Even these assumed losers on welfare or medicaid get the basics which probably reduces crime. They may not break into your house for food. Drug or alcohol treatment programs that may indirectly save your life. What would be your alternative? Some kind of disorganized dog eat dog primitive society? All the states being independent so they can fight each other? Maybe bring back slavery? Witch hunts? Do you think you can stand alone if a foreign country wants to invade us? Just what is it that you want?

The only thing you said that was accurate is the Military which is why the Federal Government exist. Everything else it has taken. The States could as they did before build roads and maintain them. The churches treated alcohol addition. The FDA does a piss poor job of keeping our food safe with all the contaminants they allow to be added by the corporate farms, injecting steroids into meat and using manipulated seeds in the plants for veggies. OSHA does regulate work environments but allow favored industries to get away with serious violations. Police and Fire Depts are municipally controlled or they are volunteer organizations. The Feds have nothing to do with it. The only thing we need the Federal Government for is Military force to protect our borders and they do a piss poor job of even that. The total Federal Bureaucracy is a big waste and flush of the countries wealth for the elitist. We would be much better off without it.

Roads and highways are often built with federal assistance , nearly guaranteeing you drove on them. Without food inspection eating would be much more dangerous, you have certainly benefitted from it. Police and fire departments do receive federal assistance at least part of the time. Without OSHA things in the workplace would be much worse especially since so many of the unions have been eliminated. You have and do benefit from these things even though your assertion that they aren't up to snuff has some merit. These public services always at some time get funding from the federal government. States rights are limited as well they should be . We are nothing if not together. Do you suggest say one state teaches science while their neighbor teaches the bible and disputes modern thinking. How far is that gonna get us? The only way this nation lasts is if we remain cohesive. Parts of the constitution definitely state that the federal government is necessary, for obvious reasons. If we as citizens want adjustments or changes to laws we need to send representatives that are capable of compromise and realize when to move on or try something else. The people who voted for tea party candidates are largely responsible for the congress failure to get things done . Sadly I believe we are going to learn some hard lessons in the years to come.

    The federal government is also supposed to protect my Constitutional rights. From itself. From the states. And from local governments. It has been doing a piss poor job of that. And OSHA allows shoddy work safety practices. My son is crippled for life because OSHA allowed the company he worked for to constantly endanger it's employees just to save a buck. I've wondered often how much the OSHA inspectors were paid to look the other way.

Your comment that State's rights are limited is inaccurate. Per the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, it is Federal rights that are limited with all others to be retained by the States.

I'm not thrilled with OSHA or MSHA. I too was crippled at work, however that particular instance was not anyone else's fault. Without state and federal laws (in my case) I would have been out in the street pushing around a skateboard. If you think a company is self regulating when it comes to helping an injured employee you're mistaken. The fact that these sections of government seem piss poor is notable but if they did not exist things would be much worse.

One limits the other. Federal laws override state laws. If it were the other way around it would be chaos.

Not only are they just a party that is negative, clueless and brainless, they are also regressive all the time in everything they do. These idiots want to go back to the Ozziet and Harriet days while the majority of the country wants to move forward. They still haven't figured out why America rejected their stupidity and probably never will.

This is an example of Godless rhetoric, seeking to destroy the very foundation of our once God blessed America. The GOP may not have all the answers, but unlike the progressives, there not on an agenda of dismantling the constitution, and removing God from every facet our founding fathers sought so desperately to protect. The irony is, the supernatural godless power behind the progressive agenda is fulfilling Bible Prophecy, by making the once greatest nation on earth, insignificant in the end times. The progressives are also unaware there actions are bringing Gods judgment upon our nation. Repenting and accepting Jesus as Lord and savior is the only Hope in escaping what is about to come. Very soon out will be to late!!
Look up your redemption draws nigh!!!

The bible prophecy thing is no more than a cop out and a whiny fit. It's a scare tactic that some use to get others to bend to their will. No one is taking Christianity away from you. This idea that the government is taking it away is more conservative rhetoric designed to stir up others. The fact you are claiming you know that others you don't agree are ruining the country shows your faith is lacking. That information is for God to know only. If God controls everything as religion teaches us why should we be mad or worry that others make things bad. You should instead be praying for the leader of this country to make the right decisions but I have a feeling you're not. Maybe God is testing his followers and it is apparent they are failing to live up to Gods word.
This kind of attitude that the country is going in the toilet because progressives aren't religious enough is probably the reason the writers of the constitution wanted a separation of church and state.

There is nothing in the Constitution regarding separation of Church and State.

No one its or can take christianity away from me, not did I state that, they the progressives are taking away christianity from everything they can.it would be good of you to read the first amendment, and understand how our progressive leaders have twisted it, thru courts, and government. Christians do pray for our leaders, however there is a point when God had no more patience, and his judgment comes. I don't believe there is a coming revival. I do believe in the hundreds of fulfilled prophecies, and now Ezekiel 38 playing out in the middle east and Russia. This is not fear mongering, but a last call of God, as the Bible predicts with 100%accuracy. God is a God of mercy, slow to anger, and just. What the progressives bring are against God, and against what America was founded on.
I'm just another sinner, saved by the grace of God
