Obama is shooting his mouth off again about owning the "booming economy". So ridiculous. Here's a great story for you about Obama, the $787 Billion Stimulus that was a complete failure, "the shovel ready jjobs that were nothing but "shovel ready bullshit" and the fact that Obama, after three years, Obama is claiming it's all his doing, the great "booming economy". He's a shoveler all right: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/02/flashback-obama-admitted-787-billion-stimulus-was-utter-failure-there-was-no-shovel-ready-jobs-now-takes-credits-for-trumps-record-economy/ Can't wait to see how you spin this!!! $878 Billion down the drain.

I still see that shrimp on the treadmill that employed one person.
I can't remember how many millions he sent to that.
I never did figure out why anyone would want to put a shrimp on a treadmill.
I think it was just to pocket millions.

Perhaps this will shed some light on the pardons or commutations?? There is a difference you know.

A commutation reduces a sentence, either totally or partially, but does not change the fact of conviction, imply innocence or remove civil disabilities, such as the right to vote or to hold public office..

A commutation can also eliminate financial penalties associated with a federal conviction, but that forgiveness is offered at the discretion of the president.

A pardon is “an expression of the President’s forgiveness,” according to the DOJ. Pardons are typically granted to recognize that the person has accepted responsibility and established good conduct for a significant period of time.

A pardon does not signify innocence, but removes civil disabilities associated with convictions, including giving the recipient of the pardon back their right to vote and to serve on juries, among other freedoms and privileges.

Looking at the high profile people he released I suspect he’s showing compassion to the people who have fallen into the same or similar circumstances he has to fight for so long now???

Who knows I surely do not..🤷🏻‍♀️

good morning spin,,, hope today is good to you..

Such a dither about trumps self serving anti justice work..

Why is he doing this pardoning and comutating??

Let us think a bit,, he never does anything unless he can gain from it..

So did anyone pay him? Cash.. I do not think so, at least not in any obvious way..

But do one person.. I sure as heck am not going to chase down all his people..

Now, Debartalo.. ?? the owner of the 49rs..

This guy, convicted and sentenced for fraud/bribes..

This family is from central Ohio, and for some reason very popular in that area.. now the guy, just like ex gov of Illinois is very beholding to the skunk trump..

And now think, who needs desperately to get votes in OHIO??? a payback is expected and what better and more obvious then to delver some of those votes so desperately needed for his reelection attempt..

So just as in the case of Putin, payback is fully expected and demanded and will be recorded.. to no avail if the Republicans can control it..
good morning spin,,, hope today is good to you.. ... (show quote)

Why such a dither????

Sure they make sense; they're all Trump's buddies or are as corrupt as he is. He's just warming up towards pardons for Stone, Flynn, and Manafort.

You're so blind to the whole situation not aware that Obama had 1,942 in an 8 year period and Trump has had 26. Wow, Trump has a long way to go to catch up. Maybe you should try to 'catch up".

The 26 (?) are nothing compared to Flynn, Stone, and Manafort. Trump offered to pardon Assange of Wikileaks if he would say Russia did nothing in our 2016 election. If Barr knows what's good for him, he'll bail out of the Trump circus before it crashes and burns.

Barr is a loyal warrior who would never leave. He's not a traitor self-serving POS like most of the morons you have in your party. Was fun watching Pocahontas make mince meat out of Bloomie at the debate. He was so flustered he didn't know which way to look with his red face. I was loving it. The clown car is still intact. Was fun to listen to Trump talk about his accomplishments because sometimes the American electorate loses track of just how much he has done positively in 3 years. This so-called "race" or election in Nov is going to be so one-sided. Just short of 20,000 and a few thousand in overflow. You couldn't get that kind of a crowd if you guys paid them to show up.

Actually, it's none of our business who they pardon. POTUS have that power so we can gripe but it's a waste of time. Personally, I don't care for pardons.

Trump offered Julian Assange (Wikileaks) a full pardon in 2017 if he would tell the world Russia had nothing to do with the 2016 election. Shows how Trump is using his pardons. Hahaha... Nothing to do with compassion or justice.

List of people granted executive clemency by Barack Obama
Language
Watch
Edit
By the end of his second and final term on January 20, 2017, United States President Barack Obama had exercised his constitutional power to grant the executive clemency—that is, "pardon, commutation of sentence, remission of fine or restitution, and reprieve"[1]—to 1,927 individuals convicted of federal crimes. Of the acts of clemency, 1,715 were commutations (including 504 life sentences) and 212 were pardons.[2] Most individuals granted executive clemency by Obama had been convicted on drug charges,[3] and had received lengthy and sometimes mandatory sentences at the height of the war on drugs.[4]

Obama holds the record for the largest single-day use of the clemency power, granting 330 commutations on January 19, 2017, his last full day in office.[5][6] He also issued more commutations than the past 13 presidents combined.[2][7]
