I don’t think Liberals hated Romney at all. Mostly just laughed at his second tier attempt to unseat a very popular and charismatic Obama. His brave speech and vote has gained him new respect from all sides. The Libs are gobsmacked that a Republican had the cojones to tell your dear leader he is a crook and (some) in the GOP secretly envy the positive media coverage that is coming. Romney is the new, albeit reluctant, hero of this moment in history and will be remembered for it.

You always find a way to go to the extremes. Romney was never hated by liberals, nor are we best pals now. Frankly, I find the significance of the Romney vote way overblown.
Unless you have this same opinion and conversation with your best liberal pal, might I suggest it is you who are the hypocrite? Because if this isn't the same approach you have with that person, it appears to me that you just enjoy flaming and engage in the same behavior you condemn in others.

Romney is a right wing zealot but in this instance he followed the tenants of his faith and honored his oath of office. This speaks well of the mans character but in no way legitimizes his embrace of a failed ideology.
