We already have socialism. Social security and medicare Why is it more socialism for everyone to have insurance and not just the elderly? Don't know if it works the same way today, but when i worked my bosses had to take Medicare as their first insurance and the insurance they had for the company their secondary.

I began paying into Social Security in 1951, whatever the going percent rate was and paid until retirement in 1994. I pay for medicare from my SS check, wife does as well for $196.00 per month each.
To make it even sweeter, we both pay fed and state income taxes on both our retirement pensions as well as SS. I get a particular thrill listening to uninformed idiots talking about entitlements.
I'm sure under socialism/communism they would find a way to take it all. At age 85 we are about done paying for illegals and non payers. When we croak,they are on their own.
