Nowhere in the article does it say a nine year old, it mentions that the secretary of education would need to have spent time as a public school teacher and that a young transgender person would be part of the interview process to insure that the department encouraged inclusivity in our schools. What an idea, schools who make learning accessible safe and encouraging for all students and a secretary of education who spent time as a teacher. Do you know the qualifications of the current SOE? She is a billionaire who threw tons of money at the Republican Party and doesn’t believe in public education. You have to giver her credit for one thing, she wants guns in schools to protect them from being attacked by bears, a huge concern on every parents mind.
