Not sure it is the same. I would guess that if ones actions is hated, to some degree, that hate would be transferred to the person, at least in some cases. Personally, I don't hate anything. I think hate is a very strong word. I did dislike many of President Obama's policies and I am sure that dislike was transferred to President Obama, so therefore, I would never vote for him.
