The House (Pelosi) said they would not issue a subpoena for Bolton or others “under” the umbrella of Executive Privilege because the Courts decision would take too long and it was urgent that Trump be impeached to somehow protect the country.
So, how come Democrat’s are now wanting to call the same officials the House didn’t call? I thought this was urgent.
This is about damaging Republican Senators IMO.

Bolton said he would appear if he was subpoenaed by the Senate. The rest, I would assume Trump would want to testify for him since he is innocent and has nothing to hide...

That's a double-edged sword for them, though. It could end up working against them.

The Democrats had their chance and did not follow through. Now they want to control the Senate and are looking for campaign talking points.

Not how it works. Wouldn’t expect you to know. You’re ignorant. Not up to Bolton. Trump can claim E. P. over anyone in the Executive Branch. You don’t like E. P. because it involves Trump. However; E. P. is a very important component of our govt.

E.P, doctor/patient, lawyer/client all have their privileges. Democrats keep ignoring that Trump does not have to prove himself innocent. They have to prove him guilty and they have not.
