This goes to show that there is more genetic variation and diversity within what we call a race (a social construct; there is only one race; the human race.) than there is from one perceived race to another.
Historically blacks, Native Americans, Asians, persons of Asian descent have been discriminated against in The US. The discrimination lasted for generations because their appearance was recognizable Other groups such as the Irish and Italians were discriminated for a generation but after losing their accent they could not be as easily separated from Western European descendants so the discrimination dropped off . Diversity is a means of getting past the appearance and the associated prejudices

The biggest lie that was ever believed is that people are black and white.

Star trek had some episodes with a blue alien. He was from a planet that had underground dwellers that were white (chalk white). He referred to the underground dwellers as white skinned and the earthling as pink skinned.

to "negros" flesh is black. It may be a social construct but "race" is a real factor in human behavior
