A Liberal is, generally and basically, unorthodox--and that is the major rift with being a Conservative. It is not so much that nothing is sacred but that nothing--absolutely nothing--is set in stone. Conservatives are generally and basically believers and defenders of the status quo. So Liberals may mostly find Conservatives as primitive and dense, while Conservatives find Liberals irreverent and arrogant.

What neither understand generally is that both are two halves to the Big Picture. Both views are crucial to doing what is best for the greatest good and maintaining our Republic. Demonizing by either of the other is an attack on truth. No matter how either side feels about the other's platform and policies, there is always room for compromise and accord...if they listen to each other and work together.

Which side do we want to blame for this adamant and vicious division? Both! It is sickening and childish nonsense how our Congress and Citizens are acting. Like a two year old's tantrum. It really is madness if you can a step back. Yet such a wise move to step back and objectively assess is seen by both parties as an egregious act of disloyalty and lack of commitment. Sad!

An excellent observation. It takes two or more opinions,approaches or methods to produce a healthy and robust end-result. Trouble is, both
of the two sides ( in this case left and right,and their variants ), have pushed aside the moral element to attain their goals. This can end only in a bitter loser, still battling to make their points valid. Sound familiar?
Calm heads are needed. Lotsa luck. Compromise is needed. Fuggadaboudit.

How many others commented on your constant insults to the President and those of us who support him. I have commented many times on the subject and ask questions and clarification of your “facts” AND you ignore them! You don’t want to actually have a conversation except when others agree with you! Why am I the only one that you call “foul” when I comment on your THREAD of insults? Are you not capable of debating a subject without using the language of an unintelligent, uneducated, hate filled man? You would be surprised how many more people would engage in a conversation with you if you would treat others that disagree with you with RESPECT!
