They see it getting away from them , know they cannot beat him in a fair election, so they have to keep manufacturing mud to sling hoping something sticks.

Their desperation is palpable. I personally think they fear losing so badly that they might lose their party or at the very least, have it relegated to smaller local elections. At this point it doesn't even matter to them just how stupid and rabid they appear, just like when they were trying to block the confirmation of Kavanaugh.

They have been doing this since before Trump was sworn in. They have actually put together 7 batches of Articles of Impeachment thus far.

Not me. I have argued politics since the Watergate years. They were this bad during that, and then during Reagan, and then during Bush JR. They never change. The difference is that during the Mighty Obama they deluded themselves into thinking they couldn't lose.
