The Senate or SCOTUS ought to be able to do something to force pelosi to turn the AOP over to them. The way she is doing this is unprecedented, and worse, it will set a new precedent. As I understand it, as soon as she delivers the AOP to the Senate, they have no choice but to deal with it as priority one. So, technically, she could hold onto these Articles and wait for some important issue to come before the Senate and then blow them out of the water by throwing this in the mix. For example, what if Ginsburg decided tomorrow to retire? Any number of things could happen that would require the Senate to act in a timely manner, but she could stymie their efforts by pulling this political stunt. If she is allowed to get by with these tactics, then we could see this happen again and again in future administrations .... against both parties.

The Senate needs to set a date by which time the articles need to be forwarded or they will file a motion in court to declare the impeachment void or take a vote declaring the same.

That's a stupid question, Jedi. People constantly asking it is disingenuous.

And the use of the word innocent/guilt. He's not even accused of a crime. The articles are simply opinion positions, nothing more which is why this is a partisan political game. We all know it and it's a waste of time.

If you had been paying attention you would know that the President has been saying to the dimocrats to get COURT ordered subpoenas as is required by law. The house doesn't have real subpoena power. Merry Christmas. Mike
