Howdy, howdy. You said..... "obvious immorality of Trump's republican party.". Please clarify, validate and restate what exactly those obvious immoralities are because all I'm seeing and hearing is what Progressives and their propaganda arm, The MSM, claim. I remember when we used to have an objective and free press. Please also include what conservatives have done that, as you claim, is equal to killing 60 plus million unborn children.

Merry Christmas, padre, and many more.

One of the things I just can't wrap my head around is the support Trump has been getting from Christians. (Or at least people who call themselves Christians). Trump is probably the most immoral person ever to serve as president... to the point where he actually takes pride in how immoral he is. So the support he's been getting from Evangelists (certainly not the Catholics) really doesn't make any sense.

Well, today a pillar of that Evangelism, Christianity Today, has come out with a strong statement, calling Trump out for what he really is.
https://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2019/december-web-only/trump-should-be-removed-from-office.html

The article mentions that the Democrats have been relentless in their prosecution of Trump since day one but unlike many others on the right, CT didn't let that reality eclipse the reality of Trump's immoral sins. The article says...

"The facts in this instance are unambiguous: The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president’s political opponents. That is not only a violation of the Constitution; more importantly, it is profoundly immoral."

CT is calling for Trump's removal. I applaud their stance and wonder how long will take for the other Christians still supporting him to wash the politics off their sense of morals and take the step to reconsider their position the way I always thought good Christians would.

This is the same Christianity Today that was remarkably silent on Bill Clinton in spite of actual proven crimes rather than made up chicken kacky?

No longer a pillar! Now a ray infested with a liberal! Read the article Franklin Graham wrote to refute it! His father voted for trump and knew him personally!

Citing the president's achievements for people of faith, the magazine asserted that "none of the president’s positives can balance the moral and political danger we face under a leader of such grossly immoral character." Referencing their rebuke of President Bill Clinton in 1998 for "unsavory dealings and immoral acts," they claimed that "the words that we applied to Mr. Clinton 20 years ago apply almost perfectly to our current president."

Stemming from Mathew 7:1, "The phrase 'judge not lest ye be judged' refers to the ego-driven and shame- based judgment. This judgment takes the form of criticism, gossip and complaining. This type of judgment is exercised unconsciously and does not serve a moral purpose." This verse is often interpreted -- not speaking to not judging at all -- it is speaking to not judging unfairly or any other cheap and selfish way.

If I were to cite the weather report for your area, would/should I be blamed for the weather

Merry Christmas, Parky.

He's getting support from Catholics too. It will take very long, maybe a few lifetimes before anyone will opt for socialism over capitalism. Anyone with a working brain.

NO! Just a dumb publication with no support from Christians. Did you read what Franklin Graham had to say. No, I suppose not since you only read negative things.

Yes. The author of CT's article is a rightwing phony fundamentalist Judas Goat hiding amongst the sheep. There is something that rings true with "Ye who has not sinned, throw the first stone." President Trump is the president of jobs, jobs, jobs, lifting the poor and mixed races out of poverty with man's dignity of work and self reliance.

I am a Christian. I support President Donald Trump 100%

Don't worry bro - this post is totally a nudge. It's like when one senator defects to the other party. Defection always happens, it's just easier to push buttons with it when the climate is so tense.

But I stand behind the moral of my commentary... My honest opinion is that Trump is the kinda guy who enraged Jesus at the temple. Say what you want about whatever tangents, it won't change the public record on Trump's lack of morals.

Maybe Parky is right and the apostates are dominating Christian media.
