“Nancy Pelosi isn't stupid. The speaker of the House knows her party screwed up their ridiculous and desperate impeachment push, apparently not having thought things fully through,” Eddie Scarry writes in the Washington Examiner.
“Immediately after her party voted, with a few Democratic defections, to impeach President Trump, she threatened to withhold sending both approved articles to the Senate for a trial.” Why did House Democrats go through a rushed impeachment process if the charges might not even be sent to the Senate?
“The answer is obvious. Public support for impeachment and removal cratered after the congressional hearings last month”—particularly among independents.

And she knows their folly will be exposed by the Senate. If you did not hear McConnell's speech on the Senate floor this morning, you missed a real dressing down of the "lower chamber" and how they were overcome by their "partisan rage" ... specifically pointing our pelosi, shifty and nadler .... and how these Articles of Impeachment are not only unproven but also "Constitutionally incoherent." I loved it!

That is why they were out today taking about their "acompishments" in order to try and divert attention from the bogus impeachment. Also, she would not answer questions on impeachment at her press conference.

I saw that! Making the claim of feeling great about things. BS!
Nancy might be slipping but she is still smart enough to know that the only chance of getting any mileage out of the frame up is to keep it out of the Senate where some facts would blow it out of the water. This way the young gullible college brainwashed can bask in its fog.

And they have the nerve to call us the deplorables.

Exactly, Elmer! Some of the Senators are mentioning they want to hear testimony from the Bidens and the whistleblower ... if they go ahead with the trial. So the dems have to weigh their options here. Given how poorly that TV interview with Hunter went and given Joe's tendency to keep flapping his gums when his brain doesn't appear to have caught up, I'm thinking they would not be the best witnesses for themselves. Also that means not only would all the Senators who are in the primary be kept away from the campaign trail, so would quid pro Joe! The DNC can't be too happy about that .. unless they're following bo's lead and rooting for Mayor Pete. So the dems have put themselves in a no-win situation here.
Did anyone else notice the smirk that Nancy had when she announced the impeachment. It looked like she was having an orgasm

That's probably her best bet for having one.
