   Now what do I do
Oh yes it's true. I do in deed own a country. Well, a little piece of it anyway. And you know how I can prove it. I was issued the owners manual for it. Yup, it's all here in the Constitution. And it say's the government, derives it's power from the governed. Hey..... That's me,.... and you,
...... and all of us, that are legalized citizens. Think about this. We, all of us, own a part of the most powerful country, on the face of this planet. So what the hell are we doing keeping this fool Obama, as the president? Why are we letting this government get away with treating us all as if we work for them?
Our Constitution, Is the singular, most important document, in the history of this great nation. And, it is proof positive, that we, the people, have the say in how our government is to run.

And yet here we are, letting an out of control government, that is supposed to work for the benefit of all of it's citizens,
rake us over the barrel so to speak.
A government, that does not respect or care, what our Constitution has said. One in which we have a Supreme Court, that does not even pay attention to basic fundamentals of right or wrong. A government that has put us all, so far in debt, it will take decades to recover from. If, that is at all possible. A government that steels money, from the very people it has sworn to protect, and spends it away on what ever fancy they deem good for them.
A government that has made our country, the laughing
stock of the entire world. A government that refuses to protect a baby's life from being aborted. One that will not protect our borders. And it's at the point now, it looks as if, it does not even care to help it's people get back to work. I could go on. But I think you get the drift.
So again I say. What in the hell are we doing?
We can stop this. But we must all be involved. The time has come now, for each and every one, citizens all, to speak up. Call or write your Senator, Congressmen, President. Tell then, this is our country. Work for it and protest our Constitution, or step down. Please, please, I beg you, do this. If not we are lost. RETW

OH YES WE DO. There have been many lifes lost that paid for this country with their life so that we may continue to own this country not the elected political dumbos that are now trying to run this country. They collect and spend the taxes of honest working folks and give us hell about not following the blind idiots leading us over a cliff. It is time for a revolution here in America.

Great comments, great question. I've asked it a thousand times, "what in the hell are we doing?" The answer is elusive, to put it clearly.

Most of us who follow politics and current news have telephoned, have faxed, have blogged, have attended meetings, have shared info with friends and family, have written newspaper articles, have tried to get lawsuits going, and all of that has failed.

I see one way and only one way to stop this runaway train wreck, and no one wants to do it because Americans shouldn't do such things, Americans are above that, Americans don't want to hurt anyone, Americans don't want to be killed, and Americans don't want to find themselves in prison. This is the point at which we find ourselves when we allow incrementalism to creep into our government because a teeny bit of this won't hurt. It is NEVER a teeny bit. Every teeny bit allows a larger build-up, then an even larger build-up,and eventually a total overthrow of our form of government, which I believe has already happened, merely not been announced.

We have been groomed and grilled into accepting all forms of degradation by the dark side.

There is a reason the political dark side are those on the left:

sin·is·ter
adjective
1.threatening or portending evil, harm, or trouble; ominous: a sinister remark.
2.bad, evil, base, or wicked; fell: his sinister purposes.
3.unfortunate; disastrous; unfavorable: a sinister accident.
4.of or on the left side; left.

You say ( Every teeny bit allows a larger build-up, then an even larger build-up, and eventually a total overthrow of our form of government, which I believe has already happened, merely not been announced. ) I do not believe that. For to do so would be to accept the very fact that all the people that have given there very all to make this country great, has been for not. I will not just set down and let this or any governmental body run over me. If we haven't changed the direction of our Country by now, is not because we haven't tried. It's because we haven't done enough work to make it happen. Rome wasn't built in a day. And we sure as hell did not get in this position over night. So before you just set down and talk about what it is you cant do. Try thinking about just what it is, you can do

Quid Pro Quo, Tasine: That one came on an e-mail from a friend and I knew immediately I would use it some time. Just right click on the picture, click on save as, and when it comes up click on the tool bar button, give it a partial front end name, and then click save. The will probably put it in your pictures file, and then you can browse for it at the bottom of your posts on 1PP. Try it on anything you see that you like. It's fun and I think adds to the post if it is germane. Sometimes I use photos. Just where ever I find something. Also from time to time go the trouble to put two or three together.

Citizenship, good citizenship, is not a piece of government issued paper. It's not merely a bureaucratic "status". It is a life long practice and propagation of founding principles. A nation of low information is just half the problem. A nation of low character cannot long remain a free nation.

Civilizations that disdain virtue die.

You can use it as toilet paper for all I care, but be sure to stuff it in your big fat mouth when you're done doing that.
