Actually it might be OK with the CAtholic Church. Their main issue is birth control. The Bible says fill the Earth and subdue it. Birth control is a violation of that mandate God gave his Catholic children (people how have sex.)

I wish we could find the video taken many, many years ago showing Pelosi sitting in the back of a Cadillac convertible, her feet on the seat, sitting high on the top of the back seat. My very large family is also Catholic, and, like your wife's family, most of them do not approve of abortion. As far as their own personal beliefs about another person's rights, I can't speak for all of them. I get your point on this, too, as not all Catholics hold strict anti-abortion views.
However, if you are going to use the fact that you don't hate others because you follow the teachings of the Catholic Church but very publicly condone and promote abortion--an act which that same Church fundamentally opposes--then I would call it hypocrisy. She could just as easily have said that as a "Christian" she was taught not to hate.

Nobody touched on Pelosi's real religion, power greed and money. I don't see her as religious in any other way.
