Your thoughts describe what is in your head not others. Are there people who steal, sure. Those people are criminals. They should be treated as criminals. The people who are honestly trying to support themselves and their families shouldn't be punished.
You sound like a gun grabber.

You sound like a gun grabber? Please explain that remark.

We've been hearing that for 3 years now, and nothing. Like a junkie saying he's gonna go clean tomorrow.
Now yall are going for impeachment based on opinion, and assumption without a lick of solid proof. And, sorry, mindreaders can't provide proof.
It's all really pretty comical anymore.

They will have it right after Schiff shows his proof of Russian collusion.

Jelun,

Actually the people I’m describing are the people I saw with MY own eyes. I spent 12 yrs in the grocery business working 6 days a week providing for myself and family.
The area I worked in was a majority Hispanic and low income. It is hard to swallow when I was working nights and weekends and people came in and shopped and paid with food stamps. Let me tell you they didn’t buy cheap cuts of meat or private label products (which were cheaper).
They couldn’t purchase tobacco, alcohol or non edibles with stamps. So many would buy the largest cans of coffee or food items then comeback later or the next day and request a refund on said items thinking they could get a cash refund and go next door to the liquor store and buy smokes and booze. Policy was they never got cash change, either stamps or a stamped receipt with the amount written on it if it was under a dollar.
I have seen it and still see it, have you ever been behind a welfare recipient at the store? You probably wouldn’t know now because they give them debit cards.
Not saying some aren’t deserving, but fraud has been going on to long and continues. The lazy will always find a way to beat the system or use it to their advantage.
I speak from experience, your head would spin with the facts I could provide you.

I've seen that!! When I was struggling to put a roof over our heads and food in our mouths raising 4 kids alone (NO welfare) there were people getting rental assistance, food stamps, free medical AND - the kicker- FREE DAY CARE so they could "look for a job". You'd think the Gov would've figured after a year or 2 they weren't looking very hard

I wouldn't know what was on maddow, I don't watch it, but I was specifically responding to the latest "tax return bombshell".

Why wait until after Christmas, just "feed them cake".

debeda,

So true, and why is it they usually have at least 2 or 3 kids in tow about one year apart.
Can’t figure out why they don’t use planned parenthood for birth control, oh that’s right they get more money for each child.
We used to call the 1st and the 15th of each month Mother’s Day. We would have to schedule more people to work just to handle the influx of people on welfare cashing their checks.
They would make a small purchase just to cash their checks. So sad to see the kids in dirty clothing and runny noses while mom was dressed and ready to go out on the town.

I agree. Kids skinny and raggedy and mommy dressed up. No excuse when you're home all dang day for kids to be in that shape

I would love to see the tax returns of Congresspersons who have become multi millionaires while receiving Congressional pay (around $175,000 annually.)

Spot On EmilyD

I doubt if anyone has the real number of where all their money came from but I'd guess it'd be a real shocker !
