It does not make the things this president has and is doing go away. And another totally ludicrous assertion is their obstruction of the impeachment investigation...based on this idiotic rhetoric that this is an illegitimate attempt to overturn the election three years ago.

And it wouldn't make a bit of difference if it is an attempt to overturn the election, it is an impeachment, pure and simple a legitimate impeachment based on holding trump accountable for abuses of power. He did these things and overturning an election is the unfortunate result of an impeachment when a president abuses the powers of the office.

Actually, the most ridiculous thing from Schiff was him pulling up Trump's tweets during the questioning of the lady ambassador and made the accusation that Trump's tweets were tampering with the witness, who obviously, had not seen the tweets as she was in the stand being investigated. LOLOLOL!!!!!!! Unless, of course, she was sitting there, answering questions, looking at her phone at the same time.

Schiff's question to the witness was not about her immediate reaction, it was in regards to what she thought the effect upon future witnesses might be upon observing the treatment she was receiving.

And on the other hand, if one claims the tweet was totally innocent and non intimidating, you are creating and boosting the signal for a lot of comment about someone's unsupported feelings about its non existent possible effects.

I believe if Mr. Trump were held accountable, the unavoidable outcome should be removal from office.

About half the country agrees as of this morning. Lets see what a new day of testimony brings.

I am not sure what you said, but thanks to Schiff, all future witnesses will be looking to Trumps tweets thinking that he is trying to effect them/scare them/what ever. There is only about a million things now that the Trump haters want Trump to be held accountable for; not the least of which is their past corruptions, like it's his fault they are getting caught. And make no mistake, they are now getting caught whether he is yanked from office or not.

Fact is, he can't be held accountable without going into the senate for a full on trial. Just think about that for a second or two. Just imagine what will happen when they subpoena Schiff, himself to testify? And the whistle blower too. For the billionth time, there is no statutory protection of the identity of the whistle blower and plenty of precedent to support that. Of course he will refuse and of course they will refuse to allow the whistle blower to testify as well. They'll subpoena Biden, Comey, Strzok, McCabe, Hillary and maybe even Obama. They will all attempt to refuse. Trump, being trump and the republicans sentae being who they are, will try to enforce the subpoenas and they can do it by law. Oh what a mess we will have.

The dem's need to drop the charade and just take their lumps. They have zero chance of winning anything in this arena. They also lack the principle needed to claim aggrieved status. No martyrdom for the left.

If this had been an impeachment investigation like all the others, it would have been conducted by a legitimate prosecutor and occurred by all aspects of any investigation legally held by our criminal laws. None of this has happened. A politically motivated person, shifty Schiff, that has wanted Trump impeached when he entered office. That has been the mantra from the left from the beginning of Trumps entering office.
