It's worse than that. The major no no is the government is sticking it's nose in private business with laws forcing them on how to run a company. Did or will the law define "woman"? Will it include transsexuals or other variations? Will it cause the corp. to move its headquarters to another state? Will it include boards for non profit associations like homeowners or school boards? Will they be heavily fined should they be ignorant of the law? Some boards are made up of elected people. How can the corp. control the vote so that there are enough women according to the law? The questions can go on and on. Having read someone's opinion of the law but not the law itself I won't get too concerned. But I will think it is one more silly move on the part of the democrats and California.

Heck... Years ago even NOW - the "National Organization of Women" - had a Man hired as President of their Organization because He Was The Most Qualified... California Legislators should take note of this and keep out of Equalizing by Race, Creed, and Sex...
