What is a Congressional "subpoena"...

It is ONLY an invitation to testify. It is a strongly worded letter (intimidation - not a subpoena) that urges testimony. It cannot hold someone who refuses the "invitation" to be in contempt of court (since congressional hearings are not a court of law). The fact that the the MSM keeps using the word "subpoena" and "impeachment" when Schiff "invites" someone he wants to testify is just one other fabrication in this whole three ring circus.
Defying a congressional subpoena, especially if directed by the president, can be construed as obstruction of justice and added to the impeachable offenses. Typically presidents don't want to give Congress reasons to impeach them but in Trump's case, he no sooner slipped the Russian noose off his neck then he slipped the Ukrainian noose back around it.
Trump certainly isn't the brightest of our presidents and as Graham said isn't capable of pulling off a quid-pro-quo. That is certainly obvious but a lack of success doesn't make it any less of an impeachable offense...

Why then did you not demand Obama's impeachment over his cover-up of "fast and furious"?
If not for your double standards, you would have no standards whatsoever!
Obstructing political 'Witch Hunts" is not obstructing justice, it is preserving justice.

Actually, though it's rarely done, Congress does have the authority and power to arrest and imprison for contempt.

Gatsby that is the most profound statement I have read today
And what was ever said when Obama was held in contempt of court .Obama was the greatest law breaker in presidential history and no one left or right made a complaint.I really believe the congress
has been attacking we the people for at least 40 years.

Subpoenas. Congressional rules empower all its standing committees with the authority to compel witnesses to produce testimony and documents for subjects under its jurisdiction.
Under this procedure, Congress may seek a civil judgment from a federal court declaring that the individual in question is legally obligated to comply with the congressional subpoena. A number of obstacles face Congress in any attempt to enforce a subpoena issued against an executive branch official

I agree. We all need to realize how long we let this build because it helps our
perspective in a tactical way:
1) This will be a siege against an enemy in a fortified and well-supplied castle...it's going to take time and persistence but the besieged
always lose...and they are the besieged, not us.
2) We have to understand the depth of the
depravity these criminals sank to during our sleep.
They didn't ONLY commit crimes against we the people...they committed crimes against humanity, therefore, they will fight like the cornered rats they are! Expect everything! They have absolutely nothing to lose by doing all the crazy stuff we're watching.
