Is the glory hole where you and your pals hang out? You guys are so into bashing Trump with hate an lies, it is embarrassing for you. Actually I expect it from the other three; I'm surprised that you joined in. I thought you were a more professional than that. It just shows that you never really know people.

OMG Archie, my gut hurts from laughing. That's a great line about soup. It's one my father never used, but we understood discipline. What the heck happened with political correctness, safe places, and snow flakes? I think it has a lot to say about the attitudes of youth today, how they lack appropriate levels of responsibility, how they feel entitled, and how they support socialist ideals. We spoiled our kids; we weren't tough enough.

Our last four Presidents (Bush, Clinton, Bush, and Obama) went "along with the crowd" -- the Establishment Crowd. As a result, we bled middle-class jobs from manufacturing due to bad trade deals, and we set the entire Middle East on fire to satisfy the hawks in our Military Industrial Establishment. Deep state corruption spread throughout Washington DC. I personally do not want a President who would just "go along" with that crowd. America woke up and voted for a man who vowed to "not" go along with that crowd. Breaking the grip of the establishment on America is a painful process because they are so entrenched in all levels of government and the media. Trump has the balls to do it and I support him all the way. If you are a free thinker, why can't you see that?

Hey, Mr. Economist, the reason we (America) lost jobs, was because of robots. They took a plant from North Carolina employing 5,000 people and replaced it with 500 people in China. Trump promised he would bring back manufacturing, and he WON'T. Only an idiot would believe that he would bring them back..

Yeah, he will upset things. He will destroy our relationships with our allies, and cave in to our enemies, and you think that is a good thing. I can assure you, it isn't.

I do agree with you that there is a strong military-industrial complex that needs to be dealt with, but I can assure you that Trump is not capable of dealing with it. If given the chance, he would cave to that. All they would do is offer him some money, under the table, of course, and he would send troops to Saudi Arabia to defend there bs democracy. The same country that killed an American resident. He has no scruples.

If you want to actually uphold the values of America, uphold the constitution of the United States. If you do that, you will be ready to impeach Trump tomorrow. You will be ready to open our doors to immigrants who are ready to work for our businesses. We need workers who are ready to bust their butts for companies making the US stronger and better. That is what our country needs, not the bs Trump is trying to sell.

We lost jobs to robots and we lost many more jobs to Japan and China. Before the 1970s, nearly everyone drove Fords, Chryslers, and GM cars. Japan clobbered Detroit with cheap cars built with labor earning 25 cents on the dollar. Now Japan sells 75 cars to the US for each ONE car that they import. That is 75 to 1, get it? At the turn of the 19th century, Bethlehem Steel was the largest steel producer in the world. But by the end of the years of steel dumping by Japan through the 1980s, Bethlehem went bankrupt. It is GONE. US Steel survived only by moving resources to Marathon Oil. Further losses to factory jobs occurred due to NAFTA which pushed many jobs to Mexico. They, like Japan, were paying 25 cents on the dollar to their workers. American factories, which pay high union wages, cannot compete with countries where slave labor makes goods dirt cheap. Now, China is stealing all remaining factory jobs. Go to WalMart and try to find something made in America. Bet you can't.

Trump is changing all that by renegotiating bad trade deals like NAFTA and the Pacific Rim deal. Factory jobs are coming back home.

I am open to immigration, just as Trump is open to immigration. America was built by immigrants. We welcome them with open arms. But we don't welcome invaders. Immigrants who come here "legally" are vetted and ready to assimilate. Immigrants who come here illegally, in the darkness of night, are not vetted. They come here with diseases, drugs, and under-age youth in human trafficking. They are scum who must be stopped at the border. I agree with you that we need to uphold the Constitution which means upholding our immigration laws. Apparently you care to uphold only those laws that you support. You can't pick and choose Marine. Either you support our Constitution and laws or you don't.

And that applies equally to Trump. He is our legitimately elected President. You can't impeach him just because you don't like him. I'm sorry about your Trump Derangement Syndrome. You will have a chance to recover after Trump's second term.

I support all of the laws. I don't pick and choose as you imply. If they bring back manufacturing jobs to the us, they will be filled with robots, not workers. The real question is, who has better robots, or the cheapest laborers. Unfortunately that's not the US.

Regarding immigration, under international law, when a person presents themselves at the border, they are supposed to be allowed entry into the country while they are checked out. What Trump did was to limit only 50 people a day to present themselves at a port of entry. With thousands of people waiting, they eventually decide to come across wherever they can so they can apply for asilaim to the border patrol. If we spent our money at the ports of entry, we could solve more problems. Most of the drugs come in vis the mail (from china) and at the ports of entry.

Have you stopped to figure out why so many people are trying to leave Central America? We created MS13 on the streets of LA in the 1960's and 70's by extra judicial actions of the police in their anti gang raids. Watch the movie "Colors". Obama and Trump started extraditing MS13 back to Nicaragua, El Salvador and Guatemala. That is where almost all of the refugees are coming from. MS13 is just as violent there as they were here. That is why they want to get away from there. We created the problem there, and that's why the refugees are coming here. Building a wall won't stop that. Fix the ports of entry and give the refugees the chance to present themselves for a hearing.

Again, obey the laws, all of them, and when they are violated, put the people in jail, or impeach them if necessary first, then they can be charged with their crimes and stand trial. And don't accuse me of saying things I don't say.

Apparently you don't support ALL laws because you don't support immigration laws. You can dance around the subject and rationalize all you want. But you are just fanning the air trying to fool us. I'm certain that many immigrants are desperate refugees. I am also certain that many many more are coming here for the free ride. America is the best place on earth; and now Democrats are handing immigrants loads of free stuff, including free healthcare. Word travels back to their homes and many more follow them for the free stuff.

I don't expect or want you to think like me. I want you to THINK FOR YOURSELF and not just regurgitate worn out Socialist talking points.

Here are some charts for you. Jobs that Trump is bringing back are not being filled by robots. They are being filled by middle-class workers. America has more people working than ever in the history of the nation. And unemployment rates are the lowest since 1969.

Hey Dick, Richard sounds so formal, Hesd, I told you not to tell me things I didn't say.. Now I don't support all laws regarding immigration. Where do you keep your Head, Dick. Clearly somewhere dark and smelly. So the refugees went from being rapists and drug dealers to being possible desperatel refugees.

I prepare tax returns for AARP in my community. We have a lot of undocumented workers in our community. Most of them have 5, 6, or more W-2's because they are out busting their ass. They are not here for a free ride. In case you haven't figured it out yet, there is no free ride in the US.

You tell me I don't think for myself. FU. I ran a CPA firm for 35+ years. I thought for myself then. But most importantly I also thought about my employees and their welfare, and for the community we all lived in.

Trump benefitted from the economy that Obama turned around. Because of Trumps actions, that economic expansion is at risk. I am concerned that the expansion that Obama started, and Trump has pumped up with his tax cuts to the corporations is going to go bust. Since most of the large corporations simply used the tax cut to buy back stock, large corporations stock value went up because of the stock buy backs.

Again, don't tell me that I flaunt laws, Dick. Heads up, buddy.

It's ironic that you call them "undocumented workers." THEY ARE ILLEGAL ALIENS! And then why didn't they bust their asses to come here legally instead of taking the easy way out?
