Iiamna1 hope your right. I just don't hear that. Are they having any impact on college administrations and faculties? On school boards?

School boards are so often the target by left wingers and so our public schools show the results in the classrooms. The responsible parents are taking their children out of public schools and educating them themselves via private schools and home schooling. It's a commitment and dedication I have rarely seen in individuals. Depending on the state you live in, home schoolers and children in private schools are way up.

"Responsible parents" is the key phrase there.

Thank God they didn't require high schools and grammar schools to dispense same. Oops, darn my key board, I hope it doesn't give them any ideas. That's right, it's the key boards fault not mine. Too bad schools at all levels and most parents aren't teaching that silly old thing called responsibility. Note to some of you readers: the part blaming fault on the key board is sarcasm.

Not quite accurate. Donations and enrollment at many colleges and universities are down while enrollment and donations have risen at many more conservative schools. And people are weighing what their options are rather than spending a ton of money on advanced leftist indoctrination, leaving their children with an unusable diploma and no marketable job skills..

Right

The push in my neck of the woods is for tech schools. We are seeing more young kids graduating with electrician, plumbing, welding, robotics, etc. degrees than ever before. A lot of kids are opting to be nurses instead of taking the liberal art classes. Hope it continues as they are coming out of schools with 2 year degrees and substantially less debt, along with great chances for higher paying jobs.

Good, there was a man who said parents are being pressured to make their kids go to college and by doing that they have shortage of electricians/plumbers etc most of these make darn good money. All my sons went to tech schools 2 have CDL license and all 3 have a certificate for 5 different welds

And they're making a whole lot more $$$$ than a graduate with a liberal arts degree, like ender studies or sociology! And none of the debt! Congratulations on your successes!
