Pelosi talks about health independence day and soon after that the administration tells us that they are going to hold off on a very important part of the institution of the law, in fact postpone it a full year. The employer mandates won't go into effect till Jan. 1, 2015 when it was to be in 2014.
Now I can see even more political talk from the two sources. One is trying to get people to believe it will do them all kinds of good and the other says they aren't ready for installation so have to wait another year.
That Nancy Pelosi surely isn't afraid to shoot off her mouth since she knows she can easily back down, if necessary.
The only reason their backing off on that one mandate is to help their chances in the 2014 elections and that is the only reason. If they didn't back off they are afraid that they would lose the Senate and they can't afford that. I believe that if the Republicans play their cards right what the Dems may be doing is illegal. I think this has to go through the house and be approved there. I know OIllegal doesn't care about the rule of law so we will have to see if the Republicans can muster up enough intestinal fortitude or not to stop this nonsense and hold their feet to the fire.

Darned fine thinking, I think. It is too obvious that they have pulled this thing off for political reasons but how does the GOP make people understand that? It is so sure that Obama doesn't really care about the rule of law and I really don't think they can call off part of the law without Congress going along and I don't think the House would agree to that after only Dems voting for it when it passed and now they are the minority. It does get more and more fishy looking as time passes.

Quid Pro Quo, Bahmer & oldroy: Great thoughts guys. Maybe the House can use this illegal circumvention of a portion of OIllegalcare, to just defund the whole OIllegalcare bill. Wouldn't that just be a cause for celebration.
That would definitely be a start but the real celebration won't start until OIllegal is impeached or shown the door do to the fact that he is not a natural born citizen. Either one or both of these would be the frosting on the cake. It would then confirm that the Demoncrat party is a house built on lies and deception and nothing more. Just like at the last Demoncrat convention they almost ousted God from their parties platform and in Texas recently they were saying "hail satan" at an abortion fight in the Texas house or senate. It really shows where this party is either headed or maybe it shows that they have arrived there.

That Hail Satan thing was done to prove that abortion is the most basic thing in their platform. Well, maybe they didn't mean to do it but they sure as hell did.

Gee, I wonder why a Republican majority Supreme Court approved Obamacare.

The Democrat Party has represented Hell for a lot of years, probably more than I would guess.
Pelosi is still on another planet! She never did care what the majority of people wanted, what's important to her is what she wants.

For the Simple Simons in the room: A Republican majority does not equate to a conservative majority. Too many republicans are mere democrats parading as republicans. And neither party has a grasp on the meaning of the US Constitution. For a bunch of lawyers, they sure do appear stupid.
She is only interested in the free botox treatments portion of obamacare. She doesn't give a damn about anybody else.

Quid Pro Quo, Tasine: Four of the lawyers are liberal ideologues not reasoned deductive thinkers from true facts to opinions and solutions to problems as reasonable suggested by the facts and the law.

Maybe we should insist on a sort of term limits on the supremes by making them take a test every year or so on the Constitution and its meaning to both the people as well as the rule of law and when they fail which I think that we may have a few that would that they should at that time be removed. Sort of like that Elena Kagan who id in there with a liberal agenda and doesn't give a damn about what the Constitution says, the other one is Ruth Ginsberg who said she would start over to a country in Africa instead of using the U.S. Constitution as a model,
