The so called whistle blower with alleged ties to Biden does not want to testify in person, but only in writing. I guess his buddy Schiff can tell him what to write but cannot use cue cards in an open hearing. He also does not want to face tough questioning from the other side or be under oath. How many have caught on to this Democrat contrived scam?

Treason priest, Adam Schiff has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that President Trump is innocent.

Otherwise he wouldn't need his secret court proceedings.

With Graham and Nunnes threatening to out their identity? I wouldn't want to testify either.

They should be outed with their credibility and motives examined. What happened to the transparency Democrats are always screaming about and the public's right to know?

Bearing false witness should most definitely give you pause.

The whistleblower is simply a civil servant who reported egregious wrongdoing utilizing the proper channels. His or her role is little more than that of someone who sees a fire and calls the fire department. They should have their privacy protected to encourage others to do the same when they witness corruption. Since the Idiot Pumpkinfuhrer has already publicly admitted the actions brought to light by the complaint what purpose could it serve to expose who reported the wrongdoing?

Everyone with a sane mind understand it. The Dems, Rinos, media and the nodding drone liberals know it. The illness they have is called: Anosognosia: a lack of self-awareness of one’s own disease/disorder. That sums it quit well. They don't know they're sick. Bottom line!

The identity doesn’t have to be revealed though I expect it will come out eventually. He should testify in person. Thats much different than in writing. And I doubt the person didn’t see any of this coming.

There is a reason why we have whistleblower laws, a bipartisan measure BTW. Their credibility has ALREADY been verified by ICIG AND the DNI, as so sworn before Congress. As to their motives or the veracity of their claims, testimony via video conferencing, or some other method of shielding their identity is warranted.

Hey Kev. Nothing in the statute protects their identity. It protects from retaliation from their employer. You still have the right to face your accuser. Of course democrats have thrown out law and precedent.

The whistleblower is not his accuser he simply let the Inspector General know he witnessed wrongdoing, when the IG looked into it he found the information credible, the IG is the accuser. In the event of a trial in the Senate the President has the right to cross examine witnesses and if the whistleblower is called as a prosecution witness he will have that opportunity, until then he has no say in the matter.

The whistle blower cannot hide from the Sixth Amendment.

Whoduthunk? Not surprised. According to another thread in today’s OPP, the so called whistleblower is actually Dim operative bent on taking Trump down.
Is anyone really surprised?
